*Michelle’s POV*
“Mirands… Mirands! Mirands…!” I said holding my arms wide open for her to walk into, which she did with a huge smile and a little giggle.
“Always so dramatic.” She said rolling her eyes still smiling.
“Mommy, who’s this?” Harvey whispered into my ear.
“This my dear, sweet Harvey, is Miranda. She’s my best friend and also the woman who helped me to bring you into this world.” Miranda smiled sweetly but Harvey just looked confused.
Our milkshakes were brought by the lovely waitress who couldn’t get enough of little Harvey.
“How’ve you been since the last time I saw you?” She asked once the waitress left.
I sighed and wondered how to answer that question.
“Well, to start, I’ve been better.” Miranda just looked at me with huge, curious but still caring eyes.
“Me and James got a divorce. Turns out he was cheating on me, again.” She reached across the table and squeezed my hand lightly.
“What about you? Any new patients?” I asked smiling sadly. I needed Miranda to take my mind off of everything.
“Why, yes, I do actually. A lovely girl. She’s kind of short, around 5”0 if I had to guess. Gorgeous blonde hair, and lovely blue eyes. She’s still young, and so smart. She has a bright future a head of her.” Miranda smiled while talking.
Call me crazy, but that kind of sounds like Lily, apart from the whole pregnant part. Or my mind’s just trying to find her everywhere, because I miss her so much.
