I spent the past few days in my room. I kept an eye on Aang from the palace to make sure he hasn't left yet, and he hasn't. It seems as if he is going to stay here until he masters water bending. Speaking of water bending, Katara has also been mastering as well. She is getting it very quickly and she is the most skilled student Pakku has. My father still has me forbidden from being anywhere near Master Pakku's class but I watch from a high distance when I get the chance.

Today, Yue went off with Sokka and they've been gone for a few hours now. Meanwhile, I'm watching Master Pakku's class from a high floor in the Palace. Katara is doing an amazing job at water bending and is beating every other student in duels. I look towards the Airbender and see that he's playing with Momo. I give a slight laugh when I see Momo fall on Aangs head, due to Aangs attention being drawn else where. Specifically to Master Pakku. I can't hear them very well from this height but it looks as if Pakku questioned him of something. In response Aang bended snow to cover him like a snow man. I laughed and laughed harder as Momo tackled him to the ground.

Master Pakku and Katara walked away as they continued training. Aang continued playing with Momo. I imagine when we leave together, they're going to be a really fun group to be around. They seem like they're always held with an upbeat attitude and having a lot of fun. I guess now that I think of it, they're being kids. And not in the bad way I mean, they're living their childhoods. I stopped living mine once I turned 12. Me and Yue had to act mature and as princesses. Living this life style always came easy to Yue, but I just can't do it. I miss my childhood and what I should have had as a kid, fun. Maybe that can be restored when I leave with them, even being sixteen.

I watched as Master Pakku taught his students. Again, studying the moves, and memorizing them. Maybe I can master these moves when I leave. As they practice the Airbender spins in circles around Momo. Aang is a very funny boy. I began to see Momo convulsing after eating snow so I looked up. The snow was black and grey. Something wasn't right. The students and Master Pakku himself looked in confusion as they inspected the snow. This isn't right. If we're about to be attacked I have to get down there and stay by Katara and Aang.

Quickly I turned around and made my way to the stairs. At full speed I made my way down to the bottom floor, and outside. I was now in front of the palace as I saw many running towards it, including Yue and Sokka. I looked around to find Aang and Katara and I ran up to them.

"What's going on??" I ask.

"It's snow mixed with soot." Katara responded.

"It's the fire nation." Aang said looking towards the water with an angry expression.

"Sokka!" Katara yelled and her and Aang ran towards Sokka, who was standing on the stairs.

As I looked I saw Yue run into the castle and I run over with her. I saw her crying and mentally questioned if something had happened. Before I could ask Yue our father came up to us.

"Girls. We're having a mandatory meeting. Get in your places please." My sister and I nodded our heads as we head over to the thrown area.

As Yue and I head up the stairs, our father and master Pakku followed behind us. On the long thrown myself, my sister and master Pakku sat on our legs as my father stood, waiting for people to be seated to address the situation.

"The day we have feared for so long has arrived. The fire nation is on our door step. It is with great sadness, I call my family here before me. Knowing well, that some of these faces, are about to vanish from our tribe. But they will never vanish from our hearts. Now, as we approach the battle for our existence, I call upon the great spirits! Spirit of the ocean! Spirit of the moon! Be with us! I'm going to need volunteers for a dangerous mission." My dad finished, ready to wait for volunteers but Sokka responded immediately.
