"I didn't bring a swimsuit," I frowned at Hailey who was in the pool with Kendall and Bella Hadid.
"Take off your shoes, and dip your feet in," Hailey shrugged. Justin thankfully showed up and wrapped his arms around me from behind, across my shoulders. He placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Having fun?" He asked me.
He ditched me when we got here to have Jell-O shots with Alex from the chainsmokers. And then I ran into Kylie Jenner and we talked for a long bit before she excused herself to use the bathroom. Then Hailey Baldwin-Bieber called me over and was all like get in the pool.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied. I wasn't in the mood to party. Especially with girls I wasn't close with. Hailey has always been nice. But we're only cool because of Justin. She and I would never hang out alone. Kendall I didn't know that well, I've always been closer to Kylie. And Bella Hadid was way quieter and less friendly than Gigi. So... it was a tad awkward without one of my real friends here.
"Well, come on. There's a few people I want you to meet. And Drew is starting the fire pit so we can make s'mores," Justin grinned, letting me go.
"And when are you going to swim?" Hailey asked him and he waved her off.
"Later. I'm here with Liv," Justin told her. She smiled playfully and rolled her eyes. Then he took my hand and practically dragged me away.
Now he was a real friend. After he forced me out to lunch, I told him all about Colson and Halsey. He was sure we'd make up. But he said "don't worry about it. They're both assholes for doing that. But he loves you. So don't let her come between you guys. Now let's take your mind off of it."
