"Hey!" Lily greeted. "What a surprise!"
"Yeah. Sorry, Zac and I were getting lunch and lost track of time talking. I had my car so I gave him a ride and he asked me to stick around to give him a ride back to our place."
"Oh, yeah, he's staying with you right now? Right?" She asked and I nodded.
"Me and my mom," I answered. Yes, I was in NYC. I was actually here to meet Jacob Elordi. He called me the other day and said he had a lead. A warlock who knew about alternate planes. I was a little shocked he wanted to help find my sister and possibly Damon as well. But I didn't ask to many questions on his reasons why. He had more of a morbid curiosity. I was just grateful. Grams, Bonnie's witch grandmother on her mom's side said Bonnie would okay when the other world collapsed. I needed to figure out what that meant. Clearly Bonnie wasn't gone gone into thin air. And Sheila Bennett, the legend, whose last name I carried for show business, was someone I trusted 200%. So I know she worked her magic and found a loophole. And that meant I could save my sister.
"What are you doing in New York?" She asked, forcing a smile and furrowing her brows way too much for it to be innocent. She looked bothered by me. She was probably dying to know why the hell I was here. Nonetheless with Zac.
"Here for business. Working on a new song. Finishing it tomorrow," I answered. "And for the record. I'm not interested in Zac. You don't have to worry about me."
