"Oh, my gosh!" I gasped as Taylor arrived with Gigi, Blake, and Ryan. The latter of which I was genuinely shocked by. Taylor is a close friend so I loved that she came and Gigi has been so welcoming with our overlapping social circles, she is a friend. But Blake and Ryan... I associated with Jake. Yet here they are, flying coast to coast. For me?!
"Hi, beautiful," Blake said. She was the first to hug me. I had to fight the sudden urge to cry. I lost the boyfriend but didn't lose my new friends and that meant a lot.
As we pulled away and Ryan hugged me next, I had a million questions to ask. Did they know about the break up? How was Jake? Have they talked? Did they know why?
