It was the end of the day, and Yachi waited for Hinata in her classroom. The girl from the morning noticed her not moving from her seat. "Eh? What are you waiting for?" She said. Just Ignore her, Yachi thought. "I mean come on, don't you think you need to get to practice?"
"Yes she does!" Someone said from the door. "Hey, you coming, Coach told us-"
"Us?" The girl questioned, looking at Hinata, who moved aside so Kiyoko could step in.
"Hey, Yachi."
"Hey, Kiyo." Yachi said, standing up. "Hey Hinata." She grabbed her bag, and was honestly grateful that Kiyo had come to. Hinata was a good friend, but he looked like a child younger than he actually was, so he wasn't very scary. Kiyo had this aura about her, and if you didn't know her, she could either scare you or put you at ease. For now, she held a stony expression usually reserved for when she was telling off Tanaka or Noya or any member of the team. But usually those two. If Yachi didn't know she was a complete dork, she'd be terrified. She got up from her seat and headed towards the door to exit her classroom. The three walked in silence for a while, and then Hinata looked up.
"You should tell your teacher about her Yachi, or at least Coach. He'd be able to do something." But Yachi shook her head. "Yachi, I mean it. You have to tell someone." He noticed he rlooking up at him, and frowned. "An adult."
"If it gets bad, then sure, but shes the smartest girl in the class, so it's my word against hers."
"Its our word against hers." Someone corrected from behind her. "Hey you guys." The three turned around to see Suga and Daichi stood there. "But Hinata is right, you have to tell someone."
"As usual," Daichi looked around, making sure they were alone, but they were out on the filed now, so nobody was close, and he lowered his voice, "My, don't yell it, boyfriend is right."
"B-Boyfriend?" Yachi and Hinata whisper-shouted.
"You mean Suga?" Yachi said, smiling slightly.
"Yes, I mean Suga. Who else?"
"You guys, you couldn't tell?" Suga said, tilting his head.
"Do their faces look like the faces of people who knew?" Kiyo sassed back, and Suga held his hands up in mock defence.
"See you inside." The boys said, as they went to their changing room and the girls went to theirs.
10 minutes later, everyone was stood in the sports hall infront of Coach. "Ok, now then, you all still have your letters right? Good. Ok, so today we're going to do some basic training exercises, and some gameplay at the end, ok? Ok. Do some laps." He said, addressing the boys. Kiyoko and Yachi just stood there.
"Did I miss out on anything?" Yachi asked.
"Huh?" Kiyo replied.
"Yesterday, any important annocements at the start?"
"Oh, no, I don't think. But hey, even if you did, we're in the same boat this way." Kiyoko said, and this made Yachi think.
"The same...boat?" Yachi said, looking at her friend. "Oh, like the same situation? Is that what you mean?"
"Exactly." She smiled down at her. "If that's how you want to put it." The girls were quite for a moment, and then Kiyoko spoke up. "I never thanked you." She said. "For that poster, and raising all that money, for us to get to Tokyo, is what I mean, so, Thank you. Also for ensuring that Hinata and Kageyama got to come."
"Eh? I didn't do that though, Tanaka's big sis did."
"But you tutored them, didn't you? So they each only failed one subject. Thank you, stop passing on credit, you don't give yourself enough." Kiyo said, smiling at her. "Come on, lets go get the balls ready for them."
