Like Stars

"They say friends are like stars, you can't always see them but they're always there. What people tend to forget is enemies are like stars to, and unfortunately, enemies are some of the brightest, biggest stars, and some of the most dangerous stars as well."

"Who said that?"

"My brother, when I told him about the rival volleyball teams." Tssukishima said, walking down the street with his hands in his pockets, next to his best friend, Yamaguchi. Yama sighed, and also stuck his hands in his pockets. Trying to act as chill as possible. "Why'd you do that? You don't have blood on your hands. Literally."

"Keep your voice down, someone might hear you. Lets go in here." Yamaguchi turned into a small café and Tssuki covered his nose so the blood on his hands didn't look too suspicious, and Yama walked up to the counter. "Excuse me, my friend here has had a pretty bad nosebleed, may he use the bathroom quickly? To wipe his hands and face." He explained to the girl working there.

"Oh, of course! Is he hurt?" She asked.

"No. He just sometimes get them." Yama lied.

"Oh, I feel you there Kiddo. Just head down the corridor. May I take your order?" She pointed down the hall, and then turned back to Yama.

The bathroom was a bright white, everything was either white aside from the red cord you'd pull in emergency's and the pink water that ran because of Michimiya's blood on Tssuki's hand. He was sweating, and hopped he didn't hurt her too bad. He may act like a brick wall, and he was a bully. He knew he was. He knew he hurt people. He knew people didn't like him. He knew he was a bad person. He knew people hated him. He looked up in the mirror. What happened to him? Where had he gone? He was pale and sweaty and his glasses were hanging off of his face. What happened to that kid who was starry-eyed, who loved his brother? What happened to that kid? How did he turn out this way? He couldn't answer any of these. He'd made sure not to brake Michimiya's bones, but for the next person, he had to hurt him has much as possible without killing him. This was the person who Tssuki feared. This is the person who had been onto them from the start. Yama was doing this because he liked Yachi, trying to split them up. But for Tssukishima, it ran way deeper. The next person he had to hurt was everyone's friend. The next person was such a good guy. But he knew. and they couldn't let anyone know. The next person, the person with brown eyes and silver hair. The number two on the volleyball team. Koshi Sugawara.

Kiyo had her head on Yachi's hand, crying. Again, Yachi had fainted, and again, Kiyo hadn't been able to stop her. "Kiyo?" Yachi asked, as Kiyo looked up, and bent close to hug her. "Where am I?"

"Your in a room in the hospital. You fainted again."

"That's embarrassing..." Yachi said. "Hey, Kiyo?" She broke apart from the hug.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Who's that?" Yachi pointed just past Kiyo's shoulder at a boy with brown eyes and silver hair, holding three bottles of water. "Is that Tobio Hinata? I remember a Tobio...and Hinata...But not..."

"Yachi, what do you mean?" The boy took a few steps forwards. "You've known me for ages. It's Suga. Do you remember what school you go to?"

"Su...ga...Suga...Koshi...Suga!" She exclaimed. "I remember now!"

"Suga- can you...Can you...go and get a doctor?" Kiyoko asked. Suga nodded, put the drinks down and left. "Yachi...Do you remember me?" She asked, fear filling her voice. Yachi reached up and caressed Kiyo's cheek.

"Of course I do, Kiyoko...I don't know what happened...I just remember blacking out...I think all I need is a small mental nudge...Like when Suga said who he was, I remembered. I just think names are a little scrambled." The doctor came in, all dressed in blue. "Do I know her?" Yachi asked, looking at Kiyoko. "I-I've never seen her before I didn't know that I could be this bad."

"No, don't worry...This is just the doctor. She's going to help you." Kiyoko went to grab Yachi's hand, but she pulled it away and shrank into a ball. "Yachi? Are you ok?"  Suga came over to join the pair.

"Hey, Yachi- Its ok. She's not going to hurt you." Suga said, sitting on the edge of Yachi's hospital bed. "We just want to help you."

"It seems like Hitoka here has resorted back into her...Child-like tendency's? Some people do it after a major panic attack as a form of coping...Hitoka, were you scared of the Doctors as a child? Did you have a problem with names?" The Doctor asked.

"Yeah I guess. I think that... My brains just scrambled."

"You can go home and get some rest now. You can walk home, your fine." The Doctor said.

Yachi and Kiyoko were on edge the entire way home, but nothing happened. Eventually, they made it back to Yachi house, and the pair was sat on the couch, arm wrapped around each other. "Yachi, why'd you go back to calling me Kiyoko? Instead of just Kiyo?" Kiyoko asked, but not loosening her grip on Yachi.

"Did I? I didn't even notice. I could go back to calling you Kiyo if you wanted?" Yachi asked. "But if you wanted me to keep calling you Kiyoko, I wouldn't mind. And also...If you wanted to break up with me after this, I wouldn't mind either. I've caused so much trouble for you in the last week, so..." Yachi started, and Kiyoko sighed.

"Yachi...I...I'm not going to break up with you. What happened today was not unprovoked, what's been happening for the last week. You know, I blame myself as well. So there's not a chance I'm breaking up with you. That's just what they want. So its not happening. I'm not going to give in. If they win, and we lose, then who will we have? Nobody. They didn't count on us being together for most of the time they posted. And we know who they are, we just need factual evidence. The entire team is being taken in for questioning tomorrow, aside from us, because you can't handle the stress, and Michi said herself that it was us...You, me, Daichi, Suga and Asahi...that helped her. So you won't have to see them. We're just waiting for a while to get back to practice. About a week. Only the third years know why, obviously, Michi's attack is one of the reasons, but we're another. The whole team is trying to protect us, weather they know it or not. And not just us, we don't know who they are going for next. We can go and see Michi tomorrow after school, yeah?"

"Y-Yeah." Yachi said, smiling and snuggling closer to Kiyoko. "Hey?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you..." Yachi paused, before adding "Kiyo." Onto the end of it.
