"Good morning, you two!" Hinata greeted the pair cheerfully, as they exited the tent. Yachi and Kiyoko waved back at them, but Kiyoko kept a tight grip on Yachi's hand. "How you feeling, Kiyoko?" He asked as they sat down on the log. They were both already fully dressed, Yachi in a pink shirt and jeans, and Kiyoko in a tight-fitting white shirt and black jogger pants. The boys just wore hoodies and sweats, and Yachi was convinced they didn't know how to dress. Kiyoko nodded in response to Hinata's question, and he smiled. "Good! That's good!" More and more people came out on the campsite, and Yamaguchi smiled at Yachi as he past her. Oh no, does he- Yachi's thoughts were cut off by Kiyoko whispering in her ear.
"Hey, Yachi, don't worry about him. I asked my Mother about the dinner, she said its Ok for you to come tomorrow." Yachi smiled, and nodded. "My family is going to love you." She reassured her, and patted her on the back, and they turned back to the group. Daichi and Suga were sat across from them, smiling, almost knowingly, at the pair, so they smiled back, also knowingly, or, tried to be, because the two boys laughed.
"Hey, Kiyoko, are you good?" Tanaka's voice rang out from next to Hinata.
"I'm good! I was just tired last night I guess!" Kiyo called back, grabbing Yachi's hand tighter. "Speaking of last night, and my sister, would you guys like to come to the show? I can ask her tomorrow!"
"Woah, uh, yes please, Kiyoko! What costume's did your sister make?" Hinata said, and Noya, Tanaka and Kageyama mumbled in agreement.
"Oh, you know, the costume department worked on the main cast and bears, the people who show up at the end are first and second years, so- She said- obviously descretly, but she said a pink, and black and white, and a blue bear. She's having a lot of fun with it!"
"Ah! No way, your sisters doing Mono-Bears!" Hinata exclaimed, standing up. "That's super cool! I can't wait to see what she does!"
"Me either!" Yachi said, smilling up at Kiyoko, causing mumbles around the group. "What? I love Danganronpa! My favourite characters easily Keade- I might even try to cosplay her one day!" A few more mumbles, then Yamaguchi looked up.
"Wow, I didn't know you were into that kind of stuff, Yachi! I always pegged you for- I don't know- the slice of life ones- the girly ones." He said, and Yachi blushed. "Gah! I'm sorry, I just saw a book- in your bag one time- So shiny and-"
"No, no! I'm sorry, no! But also- you are correct, but sometimes you need a huge escape from reality- like something that could never happen. So, I found Danganronpa through YouTube recommendations- and here I am!" She tilted her head. Whilst Yamaguchi had been dead-on about the first part, there was a side to Yachi that she didn't let most people see. Course, most people referred to the rest of the team, pretty much everyone aside from Kiyoko. Suga stood up and walked over to his tent, and without thinking Daichi spoke out.
"Where you going, babe?" It really had been just a passing comment, but he covered his mouth imadetely afterwards. The entire group fell silent again, and Kiyoko, Yachi, Hinata, Suga and Daichi stared at each other. Then Suga started laughing, shrugged at his boyfriend.
"Well, duh." Tanaka said, looking at the pair. "You did a horrible job of keeping it hidden. To us, at least." He looked at Noya. "You two are horrible actors. Horrible."
Daichi laughed, and blushed. "Uh- surprise!" He said. "Yeah, ma and Suga have been dating for about a year now-"
"Ha!" Kiyoko blurted out, and then covered her mouth. "A year? Oh, Daichi- no." She shook her head, clearly joking. "You and Suga have been dating- weather you knew it or not- for a while. Or atleast, you clearly had feelings for one another."
"Oh, good job, Kiyo." Suga laughed, coming out of his tent with a bag. "Expose me as a useless gay in front of all my children, why don't you?"
"Our children." Daichi corrected him. "Cats out of the bag now."
"Well, duh. We all knew you and Suga, it was hard to not tell. Speaking of Suga, what do you have there?" Hinata asked.
"Berakfast. I looked- or studied- everyone's food preferences- from all of the group sessions we've had. And I made breakfast versions of those!" He exclaimed, sitting down next to Daichi. "Here you go!" He said, tossing everybody their respective food packages. "Oh, Yachi and Kiyo, I didn't know what you prefferd, so I asked Hinata and-"
"I told him about Pancakes-" Hinata said, mouth full of food.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, child." Daichi scouled, and then everyone was laughing.
Yachi and Hinata were running through the wood in a game of manhunt. Yachi couldn't remember a time she felt so free. Hinata has his hand around her wrist, and the best friends were running through the woods in between the tree's, laughing, but still keeping up speed. Hinata let go of Yachi's wrist, and she didn't stop.
"Hey, Yachi! We have to go around, not through. That's the bog. We can't get stuck in there, well, we can, but-" Yachi looked up, and there was a muddy pool infront of her. She turned around, and Hinata was up a tree. "I cannot belive you fell for that!" He laughed, and Yamaguchi came out of the shadows, also laughing.
"Hinata, you traitor! I'm never going to forgive you!"
"You will!" He hopped down from the tree and ran off, as Yamaguchi tapped her on the shoulder, and sprinted off. I hate those guys, she mumbled, setting off on the opposite direction to the boys. She felt the leaves beneath her feet, and smiled running was fun. She kept a look out for anybody, any player, but she couldn't see them, it was like they had all disappeared off the campsite, or into the tree's like Hinata had. If Yachi had one wish, it would be to smack the smug ginger across the face. She kept on running, when two hands covered her eyes.
"Boo." Kiyo whispered into Yachi's ear. Yachi turned around and hugged her. "You look lost, Yachi."
"What do you think?" She was being held at arms length by Kiyoko, and it made her feel safe. "Sorry." She apologised, she looked up at Kiyoko, who stared down at her, and then laughed.
"Theres nothing to be sorry for, if its one advantage you have over the boys, its strategy. So, come on. Think, lets start with Noya." Kiyoko didn't let go of Yachi's hand, but Yachi realized it almost instantly, she grabbed Kiyoko's wrist, and was running with her when-
"Ah!" An almost child-like voice rang out from the far side of the campsite. Yachi stopped dead, and the scream echo'd in her head. Was someone hurt? It sure sounded like it. It sounded like-
"Hinata!" Yachi exclaimed, dropping Kiyoko's hand. "Kiyo- I-" She set off towards the sound of Hinata's scream, Kiyo close on her heels.
They reached Hinata within a few minutes, and when they saw him he was- soaked. He was also sat next to a river, surronded by the team. He picked an orange leaf out of his hair, and a few twigs. He saw Yachi and smiled at her, and she laughed. "Take your own advice." She joked, walking over and helping him up, and the pair hugged. "Gross." Yachi said, releasing him almost immadetely after. "But are you ok?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine, I wasn't looking were I was going and then I- Fell in the river." He blushed. "Oh well."
"As long as you aren't hurt." Daichi said, checking on his teammate. "Lets get you back to the campsite, or atleast to the bathroom so we can get you dried off."
"We'll, me and Yach, wil run back to the campsite and get Hinata some of his stuff to get changed into, we'll just give it to Suga at the bathroom."
"You know our tent? I'll take Boke to the showers, stupid bastard could've died." Kageyama said, and Yachi rolled her eyes.
"You think falling in a river would have finished this guy off? He's your Boke. I'm conviced he can't die." She said, and Hinata took a few steps back, before setting off with Kageyama to the showers.
