Eritria's POV

As soon as I slay the hollow, a new place welcomes me. There are still a lot of people in my view but not as many as before. As I try to analyse everything I shift my eye colour back to grey.

While I'm trying to calm myself down, Mr. L'muel appeared right in front of me. I don't know when did he arrive or maybe I just really didn't notice him.

"Congratulations on completing Phase One, Ms Slayer," Mr L'muel said while giving me my suitcase back.

"You can rest for a bit after which we'll be having a meeting exactly at 10:00 a.m. Your room number will be 96, here's your key,” Mr. L'muel explained while handing me the key.

"I also expect that you will wear your uniform, which is already arranged for, once you get to your designated room. Very well, that's all. If you'll excuse me then," exchanging those few words, Mr L'muel left.

“So, room number 96,” I muttered while staring at the three-story, beige mansion which has these gigantic Corinthian columns characterized by slender fluted columns which help make the column appear perfectly round than a smooth column and it also has elaborate capitals decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. While these curved staircases and well-built multiple balconies add more elegance to the mansion. Plus there is a stunning outdoor pool. This could actually pass as a 5-star hotel.

And as soon as I enter I am welcomed by two ladies.

"Welcome to Cupid's Guest House, ma'am," they spoke in unison with smiles on their faces.

"So, this is just a guest house?" I mumbled to myself while taking a look at the whole interior of it. Everything is shouting elegance in here.

I'm on my way to my room when I find a green-haired girl and what's weird is that she has this eye patch covering her right eye. I think I've seen her before. Well, I'm not good at remembering people, so... nevermind.

I already walk past through her when she suddenly grabs the hem of my shirt.

"Umm, we met a while ago, remember me?" the girl asks.

I just stare at her. "Let go of my shirt," I state coldly.

"I'm lost will you please help me? My room number is 95," the girl said with her pleading eyes.

So, we are on the same path then.

"Then keep your pace, I won't wait for you," I reply as I continue to walk.

"Really? You'll help me? Thank you  very much!" the green-haired girl said.

"I think you already forgot my name, I'm Clementine; how about you? What's your name?"

"Can't you just walk without talking?" I ask.

"Ok..." she answers with a low voice.

And finally, I see our rooms.

"Thank you so much, I couldn't have found my room without your help," she said while I entered my room without responding. I don't have time to make ‘friends’.

I take my shoes off and quickly jump onto the big, soft bed.

"That one hour totally drained my energy," I mumble as I slowly drift off to sleep.

I woke up with beads of sweats forming over my forehead.

"Another nightmare..." I say while calming myself down.

I glance at the clock beside the bed to check the time.

WHAT THE! It's already 9:40 a.m and we have a meeting, I think, at 10:00.
