Part 5

Years had passed and that scene was still fresh sa akong utok. Each and every detail, of how I broke down after witnessing that very thing which broke my trust. And I will always remember that as my biggest lesson in life.

Mama was shocked to hear the news that time nga buwag nami ni Clint. Wala nako sultii nga usa ka reason si Sydney kay di ko ganahan ug gubot between Tita which is mama ni Sydney and Mama.

"Agila, Shanice. Cum Laude. Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology."

But here I am, been able to finished my dream course.

After graduation, kay nag celebrate mi sa akong family sa isa ka known restaurant sa Ayala together with Bryle's family.

Just months ago lang nagka-kami ni Bryle officially, he helped me fixed myself, he helped me to move forward and start anew, and he loves me.

I was really shocked of his confession. Abi nakog joke ratu niya pag senior high that he likes me. But then 2 years after me and Clint officially broke up, Bryle did everything.

One thing na-amaze ko kang Bryle kay wala niya gigamit ang time nga nagkalayo pami ni Clint to get my attention, he was patiently waiting. And I think that's the best. Wala niya gi-abusar ang among closeness to the point nga iya kong i-pursue bsag naa pakoy Clint atu nga time.

Bryle was very patient to me. Patient jud to the point nga nabuu na nako akong self ug balik and I'm willing to give him a chance. Imagine, he waited 2 years before he'll pursue me, eventhough buwag nami ni Clint.

Bryle is just so ideal and I devoted myself to love him until the end na jud.

Nagpadayun rami sa pagkaon, Bryle was always checking on me. Kuwang nalang siya ang muhungit nako. Cute, tho.

I looked up to him and kissed his cheeks.

Dili na dapat ma-worry si Bryle sa akong past kay all my attention is all on him na. I finally moved on--- no erase that, I finally moved forward sa nahitabu namo ni Clint. Each day with Bryle, ako jud i-assure niya how much I love him, and that love was beyond my control. It surpassed the love I have felt for Clint, then. No comparison but I didn't expect I'll love Bryle like this much.

After sa among celebration with family kay nagpabilin mi ni Bryle sa Ayala.

Just strolling around. Nag-date mi and it was added to my favorite days with him.

Until we went home to his condo unit.

While we are silently watching the city lights, nibalhin si Bryle sa akong likod while still holding my hand. And from my hand, his arms went up to my waist and hugged me from the back.

He kissed me on my nape. "Congrats, love. You deserve it. I love you."

And then I felt somehthing cold on my neck, it was a necklace. Katu ganing necklace nga if i-duul ug suga kay makita ang different translation sa "I love you".

I faced Bryle and put my arms around his nape.

I smiled like it was the sincerest smile and kissed him lovingly on his lips. "Thank you, love. For being always there for me. For patiently waiting for me 'til I'll gain myself back. Salamat sa paghuwat, and thanks for everything, Bryle. Tho no need na for this grad gift kay having you here with me is very special for me na. I love you more, love." and I nuzzled on his neck while still hugging him tightly.

He pulled me and faced me. Iyang gigunitan akong cheeks and kissed me lovingly. "Shan my love, you're the most precious thing I have. I wasn't really expecting that you'll give back my love. I… I doubted myself. I thought Clint was the best for you. But then, something's telling me to pursue you and love you for the rest of my life."
