It was a stormy night, yet I can clearly see up from here in my room's window, the brightest Star I've ever seen. I shook my head, and closed my eyes for a while, and when I open it again, it was gone.

I glanced at my bookshelf, I found a book. Star in a Stormy Night.

I don't know but something is pushing me to read it...

Umabot nako sa part kung saan namatay yung nanay ng bidang babae. Humagulhol ako.

I read the mother's line to her daughter before she died,

"Napakaganda kong anak, huwag na iyak baby please. I wrote a book for you. All what we have shared together is there. And I dreamed na mangyayari ito and so I wrote it too. That book baby was published. I have my own copy of it, baby when you're thinking to read it in a stormy night, promise me you'll say I love you. The bookmark is our picture together. B-baby, I love you so m-much. M-mama is tired na... I'll take a r-rest baby... forever..."

Mas lalo akong napaiyak nang may maalala, I was stunned kasi naalala ko na ito din ang sinabi ni mama sa akin bago siya nawalan ng malay, back when I was six.

Tatayo sana ako nang may mahulog... galing sa book.

It was me and my mama... smiling widely. I cried so hard... nanginginig akong binasa ang nasa likod ng picture.

"Baby, I know you are done reading the book. It was stormy right? I saw you clearly up from here baby, I'm that brightest Star you saw."

After reading it, I went to the window and looked up, there it is, the brightest Star, I whispered to the wind...

"I love you, Mama... forever," then cried.
