33: You're it

As promised, Lauren guided her mate out to the field a few days later. The sun going down as she'd alerted the pack that they wouldn't be attending dinner and to eat without them.

The younger wolf stuck close to Laurens legs as Lauren herself padded along besides her in her wolf form.

The size comparison was still quite large, but the Omega had been slowly growing. It wasn't something you'd notice when you were around each other constantly, but Ally had insisted that she had grown. She was now two inches taller in her wolf form and had gained three kilos.

When the Alpha had found out she'd raise her head high with a smile that screamed, 'that's my girl'.

And while (Y/N) didn't understand why that was so good, she was over the moon happy because Lolo was too.

The small white wolf skittishly bumped into Laurens legs as they walked though the woods, the sound of distant owls and crickets setting the small wolf on edge since the last time.

Lauren huffed her amusement as they continued to walk, bowing her head slightly to nudge the Omega a head as they neared the clearing.

Digging her heels into the earth, (Y/N) looked back at Lauren with hesitance as the Alpha continued to push her forward until they sat at the tree line.

It took a few seconds of observation and other glance at her mate before the younger wolf opened her mouth and let her tongue roll out the side. Quickly, she ran off into the long grass the field provided as Lauren watched over her mate from the side lines.

It was entertaining to say the least. The grass long enough to hide the small wolf, allowing Lauren to observe the speedy wolf make her path through the tall grass as she ran through it, occasionally jumping to see over it to check the Alpha was still there.

Lauren allowed her to run ramped for a while as she relaxed, the breeze rustling though her thick fur as the moon shone on her face, calling to her.

The full moon was close and called to Lauren and her wolves. This month they would run. It was something Lauren had sat out on as her mate adjusted to pack life, but she was confident now that they could continue their tradition.

Most wolf packs ran on a full moon. It wasn't unheard of. It was a family thing, like Easter or Thanksgiving, all the wolves running though the woods together and hunting like a real pack.

Eventually they all broke off into smaller groups, the pack lands big enough that most wolves probably wouldn't see one another for the rest of the night once they broke off.

Lauren opened her eyes as her mate neared closer, the small wolf emerging from the long grass covered in seeds and bindies and Lauren let out a sigh.

Standing up, the raven wolf let out a playful growl as she couched down to face her mate, the Omegas eyes widening slightly as she huffed out of breath.

That didn't stop her from turning around and high tailing it out of there though, Lauren chasing her mate and nipping her heels in a night full of tag.

A/N: So  know I haven't updated in a while but there's a lot going on at the moment. I apologise for the delay of chapters and I'll try to update more frequently but I cannot promise anything. However my new book, "Would you ever?" Will be updated weekly due to pre-written chapters and I hope that you'll give that a read and see if you like it. 

It's a Camila/You werewolf book, no G!P. It's a slow building but it's starting to really delve into the story in more recent chapters.

I know I have a history of starting books and not completing them so this wont have as many chapters, however each chapter is a lot longer so do not fret. And I will be looking to finish up most of my other books that haven't been updated in a while as well.

Yes, that means unfortunately that this book will be ending soon.
