"I'm going to kill you" I said to my best friend, Charlie. "I cannot believe you did this" I said. Charlie ties up her long, curly, red hair. "Too bad so sad. Hey, I'm going to be with you! It won't be that bad" Charlie groaned.
Now if you're wondering what I'm freaking out about, it's this:

"You did not just land me a job as the Queen Of Hearts at Disney Land" I said. "Yep, and I'm gonna be Ariel" Charlie added. My head was spinning with thoughts.

1. I was going to have to move far, far, far away from my family

2.I had to move out by this weekend

3. I have to work at FREAKING DISNEY LAND! The one place on earth I hate more than collage!

"Oh come on Lily! It'll be fun!" Charlie said, jumping around my room. "Plus, you can take collage online! Won't that be great!" Charlie said as she bounced onto my bed. "Do my parents know about this?" I asked. "Yup. Actually, they were the ones who told me to suggest you to the audition people" Charlie admitted. "I'm going to kill them" I said, my teeth clenched as I dashed out of my room. I flied down the stairs like a lightning bolt, and into the kitchen. "IT WAS YOUR IDEA!" I screamed, as I stormed into the kitchen. "Now, Lily, don't shout" mom scolded me. "It was your idea?" I asked again. "Yes, honey, it...it was" dad said as he poured a cup of coffee. "I could kill you both" I said, my hands were on my forehead and I was pacing back and forth. "Now, Lily, that isn't nice!" Mom said in a caring voice. I shook my head and darted back up to my room. I slammed my door shut and belly flopped onto my bed. "It won't be that bad Lily. Just think, we'll be running around the happiest place on earth! Besides, you love children. Why els would you be a babysitter?" Charlie asked. "You're right" I said. But my voice was muffled because my face was in my pillow. I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I said, my face still burried in the pillow. "What's all the shouting?" I heard my older sister, Sophia, ask. "August is trying to take a nap. He can't sleep over all this yelling" she explained. "Sorry Sophia" I said as I sat up in my bed. "Would you like to explain what you did Charlie? Because I don't want to" I suggested. Charlie nodded and faced Sophia. "I auditioned me and Lily for face character roles at Disney Land and we both got in" she explained. "How did Lily get the job? She wasn't even at the audition" Sophia added. I pointed at her. "Yeah, how...how did I get the job Charlie?" I asked sarcastically. "Well, I told them you were sick, and I showed them your picture and a video of you as Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Then I mentioned you were good with kids because you were a babysitter, gave them all your info and then BAM! You got the job!" Charlie explained. "Aha" Sophia said, kinda shocked. "What's everyone talking about?" I heard a boy's voice say. It was my nephew August. "Hi buddy" I said getting off my bed and crouching to his level. "Auntie just got mad because Charlie did something she shouldn't have done" I explained kindly. I gave Charlie a small death glare. "Ohhhhh" August realized. He walked over to Charlie and pulled her down to his height. "Bad Charlie" he said, shaking his finger in her face. We all started to laugh. "What's so funny?" August asked, looking around at us. "Nothing honey" Sophia said once she could contain herself. "C'mon sweetie" she said, picking up her son. "It's nap time". "Ok!" August agreed with a smile. And they walked out of the room.

The week went by so fast. It was almost as if the universe wanted me to get to Disney Land. "Curse you universe" I said as I packed all my clothes. I left for Disney tomorrow. So did Charlie. We were sharing an apartment in Anaheim, California. Right near Disney Land. As much as I was dreading working at Disney, at least I'd have my best friend. Right? Ugh! I hate Disney so freaking much.

I woke up the next morning to Charlie. "Wake up you sleepy head! God you're so annoying" I heard her say. My vision was blurry. All I could see was her curly, red hair. Her face was faceless. Once I regained my vision, I sat up. "We're really doing this" I said as I threw my legs over the edge of my bed. "Yup" Charlie said as she marched out the door. "Oh, look, she's marching" I said before following her down the stairs. I sat down at my usual spot at the table. All I had was cereal. Everyone else ate mom's homemade porridge. "Are you excited to move girls?" Mom asked as she sat down, across from Charlie. "Yes!" Charlie exclaimed. "No" I said at the same time. We looked at each other and then turned away. "Wait, Auntie's moving away?" I heard August say next to me. Everyone at the table exchanged looks of regret. We hadn't told August I was moving. I turned to him and took his tiny hand. "Yes, buddy, I'm moving far away" I explained as calmly as I could. "No. You have to stay here. With me and mommy and nana and pop-pop" he said. I saw tears start to fill his eyes. And soon he was sobbing. Tears started to fill in my eyes too. Soon, they started to slowly fall onto my cheeks. "I won't leave if it makes you this unhappy" I tried to say through the tears. "No. I want you to go. I'm just afraid I'll never see you again" he sobbed. "Don't worry" Sophia started. "We can go visit her whenever you want" she said. "Really?" August asked as his sobs turned into trickles. "Yes" Sophia nodded happily. "O.....ok" he said through a mouthful of tears. That was the moment I knew my life would change forever.
