Charlie, Everett, and I sat in the apartment. "So, you're fired" Charlie said, pacing the room. "Yup" I sighed, sitting on the couch. "And you're demoted to stand in?" Charlie said, looking over to Everett, who was leaning against the wall. Everett nodded. "Thanks for pointing that out, Captain Obvious" I said sarcastically. "But you two did nothing wrong"'Charlie protested. "Yeah, we were framed or set up or something like that" I stammered. "That's not fair!" Charlie whined. "Ya think?" Everett shot back. "We could take this to Mrs.Well" Charlie said suddenly. "She's above Mr.Locks and we all know she doesn't particularly like Penny or Liam" Charlie continued. "And we can tell her the truth without Liam or Penny being there!" Everett added, perking up. "Exactly!" Charlie cheered. They looked over to me. "It could work....." I started. They jumped and gave each other a high five. Next stop: saving my job.
