The whole week was the exact same. Watch the movie, do the pose, practice the signature, practice the accent, pretend you're in the parade, act as if you're meeting a kid.

(Also, we never got taught for the stage shows. Apparently that's a whole other department.)

And finally, it was my Wendy debut. It was about a half hour until the park opened and I was already in full Wendy mode (besides the accent). A few minutes after I was done getting ready, Mr.Locks came into mine and Penny's dressing room. "Lily" he said from the other side of the door. "Come in" I called as finished zipping the dress. Mr.Locks came in. "Lily, I want to introduce you to Everett" he said, standing to the side. A boy dressed as Peter Pan stood in the door way. "He is the full time Peter" Mr.Locks explained. "Hi, I'm Lily" I said, shaking Everett's hand. "Everett, nice to meet you" he said. He looked like Peter Pan. Not exactly the same, but enough to fool the small children waiting for us outside the gates of Disney Land. "Are you two ready?" Mr.Locks asked after a few moments of awkward silence. "Yeah" we both said at the same time. "Then follow me" he said, leading us down the long hallways. "You two don't have a designated meeting spot" Mr.Locks started as we walked. "So, you are free to wander around Fantasy Land and Main Street outskirts of Fantasy Land" he explained. "Awesome" I said. "Today, this is your character attendant, Fiona" he said as we approached, a short, plump, old lady. "Hi" I said, shaking her hand. "Hi" Everett said shaking her hand too. We kept walking down the hall, Fiona trailing behind us.

From where we were backstage, I could hear the opening ceremony happening at the gates. Charlie was there, Ariel was in the opening ceremony. But, then she would be at Fairy Tale Hall the rest of the day. Then, I started to hear people flooding into the park. "Alright, Fiona will take you to the Fantasy Land entrance, have a good first day" Mr.Locks said, emotionlessly as he walked away. "Follow me" Fiona said cheerfully. We followed her through the backstage area, until we came to a sign that read: "Fantasy Land entrance". "You ready?" Everett asked, he held out his hand for me to take. "Ready" I said taking his hand. And then, Fiona opened the door. We were near the Pinocchio ride. There were hundreds of people walking down the walk way. We ran out around the crowds of people hand in hand. Eventually, we had a huge crowd of all ages surrounding us. After about ten minutes of running around, interacting with other characters and children, we settled on a shady spot to start taking pictures and signing autographs.

After five minutes, a little boy dressed as Peter Pan approached us. "Look Peter! It's you!" I said in my fake British accent. "No way, there can only be one of me!" Everett exclaimed. I crouched down to the little boy's height. "What's your name?" I asked. "Daniel" the boy said shyly. He looked back at his mom for reassurance. "Go on" the mom said softly. He looked back at us. "Daniel" he said again. "I'm Wendy Darling" I said politely. "And I'm Peter!" Everett said energetically. "Peter Pan!" he added. He held out his autograph book. "Would you like me to sign this?" I asked. He nodded. "Why of course" I said, taking the book. I quickly signed it. "Is it alright if Peter signs it too?" I asked, handing the book to Everett. Daniel nodded. As Everett signed the page next to my signature. Soon, we took a picture. And then, I saw Captain Hook. "Daniel, Peter, it's Captain Hook!" I gasped. "How about we go get him" Everett suggested to us. I agreed and saw Daniel nod. We each took one of his hands and chased after Captain Hook. When we got nearer to him, we started to tip toe. "Shhh!" Everett hushed us. "On the count of three, we'll jump up and scare him" I said. "One, two three!" Everett and I counted together. "Ahhhh!" we all screamed. Soon, Captain Hook pretended to be scared and turned to face us. "Hi ya Hook" Everett said in a taunting way. Hook started to walk towards us. "Uh oh" Everett said. "We better run!" Everett added. We turned around to run. We ran to Snow White's wishing well where Aurora was having a meet and greet. "Help us your majesty!" I said, pretending to be scared. "What can I do for you?" Aurora asked politely. "Hook is after us" Daniel said. "Really? Well, you can hide behind me" Aurora suggested. "That would be great!" Everett said. I soon saw Captain Hook getting closer. "Hide!" I heard Everett say. Everett hid behind Aurora, then Daniel was in front of me. "Stand very still" I whispered to Daniel. Hook came up to Aurora. "They went that way!" Aurora said, pointing in the opposite direction we had come. Hook immediately went where she had pointed, a large crowd following him. When he was out of sight, we presented ourselves to the crowd. "Thank you your majesty" I said to Aurora. "Can we curtsy to the princess? It's only the polite thing to do" I said to Daniel and Everett. So, I took Daniel's hand, and all three of us bowed to Aurora before running off again. We stopped at the same shady area we had started. "Thanks for playing with us" Everett said to Daniel. "Yes, you must come and play with us again" I added. "Can I get a hug?" I asked. Daniel threw his tiny body into my arms and then into Everett's. "Thank you so much Peter Pan and Wendy" the mom said before walking off. I knew I had just made one of the most magical memories that little boy would ever have in his life.
