"GIVE IT BACK!" You shout at your mother, reaching for your camera after she yanked it out of your hands.

"YOU BETTER BACK UP LITTLE GIRL!" Your mother shouts back, walking away with the camera. You run up to her and grab the camera but she pushes you back. You tumble over your own feet and fall back on the floor, hurting your arm as you tried to catch yourself.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" You yell at her, holding your arm.

You hear a door open upstairs.
"What's going on now!" You hear your father yell as he makes his way to the stairs.

Your mother inhaled deeply and sighs, trying to calm herself down.
"You know what, I don't need to explain myself to you child. I am your mother and if I say you can't go out to take your shitty ass pictures with your father than YOU CANNOT!" She shouts her final words at you

"Can you two please just calm down, just for today PLEASE!" You dad yells as he makes his way down the first few steps

Your cheeks heat up as rage fills your entire body. You can't help but let out a chuckle at your mother's response.
"WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A BITCH!" You shout

Your mother growing more and more angry by the second. She looks at you with eyes clouded with anger. She inhaled deeply again.
"YOU KNOW WHAT-" she shouts before smashing your camera on the floor and stomping on it until it was nothing but broken pieces.

Your father finally makes it down the stairs completely and rushes into the living room to see what's going on.

"NO NO NO!!" You scream as you crawl over to your smashed camera with tears flooding your eyes.

"What happened?!" He asks frantically, looking up at your mother

"SHE SMASHED MY CAMERA!" You shout, endless tears rolling down your face as you picked up the pieces to show your dad.

"WHAT THE FUCK AMBER! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" Your father shouts at your mother

"Why are you always on her side?! IM YOUR WIFE! I CAME FIRST! I GAVE YOU THAT FUCKING BRAT! YET YOU CONSTANTLY CHOOSE HER OVER ME. SPEND MORE TIME WITH HER, DO EVERYTHING FOR HER, HOLD HER WHEN SHE CRIES, WHY NOT ME? HUH?" Your mother yells, tears now in her eyes.

"SHE'S MY FUCKING DAUGHTER, AMBER! THATS WHAT IM SUPPOSED TO DO! THAT WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO! YOU KNEW HOW MUCH SHE LOVED THAT CAMERA! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS SHIT?!" Your dad yells back.

"I NEVER EVEN WANTED THAT BITCH OF A CHILD! SHE CAN WITHSTAND HAVING THAT LITTLE FUCKING PIECE OF PLASTIC DESTROYED OVER HER WHOLE FUCKING LIFE LIKE MINE." She shouts

Your father stands there in shock and you freeze in your place. You look up at your mother, completely frozen.

"You don't mean that." Your father says

"W-what.." you say to your mother, tears rolling down your face.

"You heard me, if it would've been up to me, your raggedy ass wouldn't even be here today." Your mother says staring straight into your eyes

You feel as if your heart was the one that was ripped out of your grip and stomped on. Getting up, you rush straight towards the front door and open it.

"Y/n!!" You hear your dad shout but you slammed the door behind you once you were out. You start to run, you didn't know where you were going but that didn't stop you. You ran and ran, wiping away tears.
Eventually you stop to catch your breath, the tears never stopped falling. Exhausted, you fall to your knees and just cry.

Shortly after, you regained some of your energy and decided to head to the park that was nearby.
After the short walk, you reached the park and sat down on one of the swings. You sigh deeply as you wipe away your remaining tears, then pull off your backpack, throwing it on the ground.

A few seconds later you hear your phone's ringtone start to play from inside your bag. You reach over and grab your bag, opening it and taking out your phone. It was your dad.
You smile and answer the phone, sniffling.

"Dad?" You say

"Hey sweetheart, are you okay" He asks

"No, why doesn't she love me Dad?  W-what did i even do so w-wrong?" You struggle to get out as you begin to cry again

"You did nothing wrong honey, okay? You are perfect, don't worry about her alright. She'll come around eventually." Your dad says

"I hate her Dad. I hate her so much" you say quietly, tears flooding your vision

"I know you do honey, but don't think about that right now okay? Where are you?" He asks

"I-I'm at the park. I didn't know where else to go." You reply

"Well I'm on my way to get you now, then we can go and get you a new camera, a better one in fact. Does that sound good?" He asks

You smile at his words, giggling a bit.
"Yes, that sounds good. I love you Dad" You reply, wiping away your tears.

"I love you too, I'll be there in a second alright, stay put." He says

"Okay, see you soon" you say as you hang up.

Shortly after, your father's car pulls up across the street. You get up from the swings and grab your back, throwing it on and heading over to the street. You smile at your Dad once you see his face. He smiles back at you and waves childishly. You can't help but laugh and return the wave.

Once you reach the street, you hear a loud noise, you look to your left and see a truck about to pass by. You stop at the edge of the road, waiting for the truck to pass so you could cross the street.
However, you noticed the truck begin to turn into your fathers lane, looking up at the truck driver and noticing the guy was passed out.
Time seemed to go in slow motion. You looked over at your Dad who was still looking over at you, completely obvious to the truck that was now in his lane, approaching his car fast.

"DAD!" You scream out but it was too late. The truck crashed straight into your fathers car, causing it to flip over completely.

Your heart drops to the pit of your stomach. In complete shock, you stand there, tears overflowing in your eyes. You try to walk over to the car but your legs become weak and you stumble over, falling onto your knees again. You choke on your own scream, yet manage to let it out. You scream as loud as you ever had before, crawling over to your fathers car.

"DAD! NO NO NO PLEASE GOD NO!" You scream at the top of your lungs, feeling the world crumble all around you as you get a sight of your Father. His face covered in his own blood from the huge gash in his forehead. He was shaking violently before you saw him manage to look over at you. His eyes flooded with tears and blood, as his tried to smile but failed, instantly loosing his breathe and dying, yet with his eyes still locked on you.

"NO!" you scream as you wake up to the sound of your alarm.

Breathing heavy and uneasy, you grab your alarm and throw it against the wall.

You begin to cry hard, remembering that very day your world stopped turning. The day the only person who meant more to you than life itself, was taken from you. You hold into your knees as you cry into them. Then you look over at the picture on your nightstand of your and your father, grabbing it and holding it close to you.

"I-Im so sorry Dad. I should have never left the house. Mom was right, it's all my fault" you struggle to get out. You hold the picture tighter and just cry, letting out as much of the hurt and regret as you could.
