~Teto's POV~
I was so excited to begin filming Project Diva. Charlotte had told me all about it and I could hardly wait. I had a list of my songs written down, so I could present them to everyone and see which ones they wanted to put in the game. It was finally happening! I was going to sing with the Vocaloids!
When the word spread I was going to be working with them, everyone went haywire. "You must get Len's autograph for me!" Insisted Tei. "I wonder if it'll smell like him..."
"Why would it?" Ritsu asked.
While they argued, Ruko spoke up. "Say hi to Luka-chan for me, she is my Vocaloid counterpart, after all... and she's so cool!"
"Not really," Uta interjected. "Apparently she hates Miku! Why would anyone hate Miku!"
"Seriously!" Momo agreed. "Miku is the best! Oh, but Rin is really nice too!"
"I think Meiko is pretty," Ted commented.
Defosuke scoffed. "Why, 'cause she has big breasts?"
"No, no! I... think she has nice eyes!"
"She's already married, anyways," laughed Momotaro.
"To Kaito, he seems tall. I like his voice," Momo blabbered on.
"He sounds like Kermit the Frog," Ritsu turned away from his bickering with Tei.
"Who to the what now?" Asked Uta.
Koe groaned. "You seriously don't know Kermit the Frog? It's an American thing!"
I just stood back and watched them all talk a mile a minute. If only they all knew what I knew. But that didn't matter to me, some of the Vocaloids must be nice to invite me.
Why would anyone hate Miku? My friends' words rang through my mind. I'd never met Luka before, but now I was excited. She seemed to understand that there was more to Miku than sunshine and kittens.
"Alright, alright," Charlotte put her hands on my shoulders and pushed me towards the door. "If Teto doesn't leave now, she's going to be late!"
"Bye, everyone!!" I waved. "I'll see you tonight!"
On the way there, I mentally reviewed everything my friends had said. Get Len's autograph for Tei, say hi to Luka for Ruko, and tell Meiko that Ted thinks she has big breasts. I mean, nice eyes.
Charlotte pulled up in front of Vocaloid Production Services. "Well, we're here. Want me to go in with you?"
"No, thanks," I smiled. "I know my way around this place by now. It's almost like home."
"Alright, I'll be back this evening to pick you up." She grinned back at me. "Have fun, sweetie."
I stepped out of the car and looked up at the tall building before taking a deep breath and walking inside. There was a man with glasses standing near the entrance in the lobby. "Teto?" I looked over at him. "I'm supposed to escort you upstairs. Follow me, will you?"
"Hi!" I squealed, running over to him. "Oh, I'm so excited! I've got a list of my songs that I'd like you all to consider for the game, I can read it to you if-"
"Oh, they didn't tell you?" He looked back at me as he pressed the elevator button. "You're not going to be singing."
I felt like I'd just been punched in the gut. "W-What? Why not? If I'm not singing, what am I doing?"
"Sorry, I don't know. I'm just an intern. Big fan though."
What was the point of even coming? The rest of the elevator ride seemed to take forever, my head was pounding.
