~Miku's POV~

"To Momo, keep up the good work! Love, Hatsune Miku~" I smiled at the pink-haired girl, who I guess was named Momo, as I handed her the autograph.

"Awesome!" said the girl who had opened the door for me. "Could we maybe get a picture, too?"

"Sure!" I replied as she pulled out her phone, and I draped my arms over the two of them while trying not to visibly cringe at the feeling of the cheap Utau fabric they made their clothes out of. I would rather die than wear something like that.

Almost immediately after that, we heard someone screech from the direction of the meeting room. "Teto!" The deep voice shouted.

Momo was confused. "Who said that? It doesn't sound like anyone I know."

The other girl, who I think was named Uta, stood up. "It doesn't matter! Teto could be in trouble!"

I gasped and stood up with her. "Oh, no! We better go see if she's okay!"

The three of us ran over to the business room, where Teto was still collapsed on the ground. Momo put a hand over her mouth as she began to cry.

The strange part was, there was a man hovering over her, with a similar outfit and the same blood-red eyes and hair.

"Um, who are you?" I asked him, then I looked over and saw how sad the girls were. "And is Teto alright?" I added quickly.

He looked up at us. "Oh, you're Teto's friends. And... you're Hatsune Miku! I'm Ted, Kasane Ted."

"Her brother?" Asked Momo.

"Yup," Ted nodded. "I was just finished in development, but we can talk about that later. Right now, Teto needs some ice. That's a pretty nasty bruise."

"I'll get the ice!" Momo scrambled off. What a goody-two shoes.

Uta hovered over Teto too, and I stood on the end.

Finally, her eyes fluttered open. "Thank goodness you're alright," said Uta. "What happened?"

"Ohhh," Teto groaned, trying to sit up. Ted and Uta helped her, and Momo handed her the ice. "Thanks." She turned to Ted. "What's your name?"

"Ted. I'm your brother."

"Oh," Teto examined him, she seemed very interested in the fact she had a brother.

"So what happened here?" Momo asked.

"Oh, um... well..." When she noticed I was there, I shot her a look, a look that said don't you dare tell them that I did this. "I-I guess I just slipped..."

I figured I should speak up. "Teto, you really should be more careful in the future!" Careful what you say to me, that is, or things are only gonna get worse.

~Teto's POV~

"These shoes have a lot more grip," Charlotte said as she handed the shoebox to me. "And, Teto? Please try to be more careful in the future. That's a really nasty bruise."

I nodded and took the shoes back to my room. I felt terrible that Charlotte bought me new shoes to make sure I didn't "slip" again when my old shoes were perfectly fine. The lying was going too far, but what could I say? Actually, the real reason I was passed out on the floor was because Hatsune Miku knocked me unconscious! Yeah, right. As if anyone would ever believe that.

I sighed and flopped back onto my bed. Would it always be like this? Would I always be under the control of someone who wished I never existed in the first place?
