"Hm hm hmm~"

Empire's hands played with the dull knife, twirling it around his fingers. He ignored the cuts, it just made it better. Self inflicted pain was something he loved doing, not because he was sad, but because he was a big masochist. (He only likes it if it's too himself though)

"Wait until my visitors arrive! Oh it'll be so fun! Right Brother?" He pulled out a sock puppet he made to look like Britain. It was wonky but it was enough.

He stared at the puppet, waiting for it to answer. His wide open eyes just staring into the depth of its non existent soul. He looked like he was about to have a mental breakdown, but was smiling anyway.

"Oh wait," He said with mock realisation. "You're dead."

And with that he spun around in his chair and started his uncontrollable giggles he gets when he's satisfied with something.

"Good that I had an underground backup base before the fall of me hm?" He said to the puppet, leaning his head on the table.

Just then the trap door was knocked softly, but just loud enough for him to hear.

"Yay! Gotta get the door, bye!" He said before stuffing the puppet in a pocket inside of his jacket.

France fiddled with her hands in front of her neatly tucked in white shirt with a small pocket at the front and long sleeves in her black, short skirt. She didn't expect 'Britain' to be calling her to discuss a few things. She didn't know there was anything to talk about. But nonetheless, she agreed and now she was outside the trap door upstairs. She didn't know what the need was for a trap door though. Was all this just a prank?

"Ah hello!" Empire said, opening the door for her to enter.

"Bonjour?" She greeted him, stepping in.

But as soon as she put a foot in she realised that she had made a very grave mistake.

Empire immediately got out his cane and smacked her across the back of her head with it.

When she fell on her face he just looked on, smiling his insane smile.

"Oopsies, my cane slipped. Too bad you didn't look at my face clearly dear France, then you would've fled for your life."

He dragged her body into the same room he dragged England in, but this time, he wasn't going to be fooled that easily.

...

Russia and America were just talking about recent news, while USSR was trying to find out how to punch someone without hurting them (don't ask).

"You sure he's still in the country?" Russia asked America.

"He wouldn't just leave, if he did then he would've let us know atleast." America said worriedly.

There was a pause between them.

"Is it my fault?" Asked the American. This surprised Russia.

"Why?"

"Because I'm the one who suggested the stupid elevator experiment." America said, frustrated with himself.

"We all agreed to it, even Germany did, and nothing he can say will change that."

"But-"

"No buts, even I thought it was a decent idea though it was a little extreme, not gonna lie. But no one expected this, so you don't need to feel alone." Russia held onto his shoulders.

"We're in this together yes?" He added.

The American thought. Not about the decision. About what he said. And he thought they hated each other. But he guessed that's behind them?
