"Momo is lucky that she can get away with fucking with me like this," Kyoka said through gritted teeth as she stared at the three guys sitting awkwardly in front of her. Of course Momo had decided she needed to take a shower just when Kyoka showed up. It was the same thing she had done with both of her ex-boyfriends and the same thing she had done whenever she wanted to introduce her best and oldest friend to one of her newer ones. She knew full well that the purple-haired girl hated it, but Momo thought it would be good if they got to know each other without her having to facilitate the conversation for them.
"Um, haha, well, I'm Izuku," The freckled boy offered, slightly discouraged when Kyoka's expression didn't shift in the slightest and actually got more judgmental if that was even possible.
You see, Kyoka was fully against Momo living with three guy roommates becuase, in her mind, guys were disgusting pigs with no self-control. And she had done everything in her power to convince her former roommate and best friend to find her own apartment or move in with literally anyone else, but Momo had her heart set on living with the guys from day one.
But it wasn't that she thought they were saints or anything. In fact, for a while, she didn't even like them, but the loft apartment overlooking the city was so nice and she could deal with three guy roommates if it meant she got to watch the sunset over the skyline every night. Well, she thought that at the time.
But even if Momo had grown to like these guys, even if she claimed that they were perfectly suitable roommates, Kyoka still wasn't convinced.
"Ah yes, you're the nice one, aren't you?" In the tired girl's mind, they were three separate personas based on the way Momo had described them. The blond was the dumbass who set the microwave on fire, the one with freckles helped her clean up and actually had manners, and the other one was the hot one and also an asshole. In her mind, Kyoka liked him the least.
"I'm the nice one?" Izuku questioned, a bright smile growing on his face at the idea of his roommate calling him nice when out of earshot. It was like a badge of honor and Izuku made a note silently in his head to ask her about the validity of her best friend's statement later. Izuku was the nice one in everyone's eyes, but it was extra special coming from Momo because they were actually friends.
"And the blond one is the one who microwaved all that shit," She raised an eyebrow in Denki's direction in a way that made her look like she was glaring at him. Which she actually half was. Kyoka Jirou was always half-glaring at someone becuase hse didn't particularly like anyone. Except for Momo, that is. That raven-haired girl proved to be the only one Kyoka could tolerate time and time again ever since middle school.
"I was expecting much worse. So yeah, I'll take that," Denki mused more to himself than her. He was sure the main topic of conversation would be his manners (or lack thereof) or maybe his crocs (which he was no longer allowed to wear). So he didn't mind being known as the microwave guy.
But Kyoka ignored him in favor of turning to Shouto with a glare that could rival even his when it came to an icy sort of anger. It sent a shiver down his spine but he hid it well by merely blinking at her and giving her the most sarcastic smile he could muster. Obviously, their personalities clashed and she hadn't even said a word to him.
"And you," She frowned disapprovingly at him. After everything the purple-haired girl had heard about him, she already had a preconceived notion about what he was going to be like. If she was being honest, as much as Kyoka Jirou tried not to judge people, she couldn't help but already think of him as an asshole man-whore thanks to how Momo had so vividly described him. And the sad thing was that her preconceived wasn't exactly wrong.
"Me? Which one am I, the hot one?" He only half-joked. He wasn't expecting this angry looking emo girl to give him any compliments, but he also knew that as much as Momo would deny it, she thought he was attractive. The reason he knew this was because Shouto could just tell when women thought he was hot. It happened enough that he had almost a sixth sense about it.
