You have to understand, Denki never expected it to go as far as it did.

He didn't expect her to look so pretty under the dim lights of her apartment, her shirt on the floor next to her, her messed up, dark purple hair framing her features way too perfectly. She was a master of seduction without even trying. He didn't expect her to get so adorably shy in a way that made his heart race in his chest and a knot form in his stomach. And he certainly didn't expect her to taste like sweet peppermint against his lips.

Needless to say, Kyoka Jirou hit him like fucking train, and how was he supposed to go back to nameless girls after he tasted an angel from heaven?

Technically speaking, Denki hadn't broken any rules. If fact, if we were bruh really technical about it, he'd actually followed the rules. Granted, it was a rule that almost solely advantages him and it was a rule he'd imposed in the first place, but a rule was a rule, right? Right. Then why did he feel so bad about it?

I mean, don't get me wrong, he also felt like a fucking sex god considering he somehow managed to seduce the heartless Kyoka Jirou, but he still had a knot in his stomach that wouldn't go away. Deep down, he knew why. It was because he knew he was about to get his dick chopped off by Momo if she ever found out about this.

Yes, they were both consenting adults, yes, they could have their own love lives without their friends interfering. But did he genuinely believe that would cross Momo's mind before she decided to exact revenge? Well, yes, she was a very mature person with a clear outlook on life. But did he think that she would actively decide to leave it alone? Hell no. If he was guessing correctly, she would probably get all silent and treat him all weird and passive-aggressive for a few weeks before it finally blew over. And that was something he probably couldn't handle.

Denki didn't do good with cold shoulders. He would honestly rather get his dick chopped off. Anyone who knew Denki knew that he would break after a few hours of being given the silent treatment. It didn't matter how set in his ways he was, he would cave to anything to get you to talk to him again. And by the end of the week, he would be a mess. And the biggest issue was that Momo could keep the whole thing up for weeks.

Thus, Momo could never find out about this particular incident. Had it been a mistake? Yes, probably it had. He should never have slept with Kyoka Jirou, no matter how good it was (and it was really good) because Denki wasn't a relationship guy. Well, he was, they just never worked out. But would he definitely do it again given the chance? Yes, yes he really would.

Ah yes, Momo could never find out about his unwise decision on the night of February 14th. But you know who could? That's right, everyone else.

It was a sunny afternoon and Momo was out at the drug store getting some aspirin when Denki finally decided it was safe. There was no one around but the three guys as they watched Saving Private Ryan (on Izuku's request, of course. War movies had the inexplicable ability to make their freckled roommate cry. It didn't matter what movie it was), and the entire apartment was silent. However, the blond decided they should make extra sure that their conversation remained private.

"Guys, closet," Denki said, capturing the attention of the other two guys, who looked at him with something between a healthy dose of skepticism and stark curiosity as to what he was about to tell them. There was an unspoken rule among the three men that it didn't matter what issue was being discussed if one of them said "closet" they dropped everything and went to the closet. It didn't matter how important a task they were in the middle of doing, it was the universal signal that this was something they needed to talk about.

They'd stopped doing it as often now that Momo had arrived because, for one thing, the walls in the apartment were paper thin, and for another, if all three of her roommates miraculously disappeared, she would probably start wondering where they were. And they couldn't have her looking for them, now could they?
