He walks in just as the bell rings.

we used to be best friends and I had sorta fallen for him. I didn't mean to but things just kinda happened. one day we went to a party together. jack always loved parties but they weren't really my thing. that's the night everything changed. it was also a week before I moved to North Carolina.

I've changed a lot too. I used to be a little nerdy and I guess that's why jack and I were never more than friends. used to I had a lot of acne, some glasses, I was freakishly tall, and my boobs didn't suit my body, as weird as that sounds. now however I've gotten rid of all the acne except for a pesty pimple here and there every now and then. i also got glasses and grew into my body.

when jack walked in he noticed the assigned seats and looked at the teacher questioningly. "Ah, Mr. Gilinsky, your seat is in the back right next to the new girl, who's name is Rosemarie, is that right?" she asks me after informing jack on his seat. "yes ma'am that's me" I say a little shyly. I don't know why I got so shy all of the sudden.

"do I know you?" jack asks me obviously noticing the change but not fully remembering me. "I don't think so" I reply a little too harshly remembering what happened in the past and how jack is a player. "well that's gonna change really fast babe" he says winking at me "oh really and what if I say no thanks?" I ask a little annoyed "not going to happen cutie" he says winking again this time giving me a half smile. "we'll see about that" I say giving the same half smile. at that moment the bell rings and class ends.

I walk to my locker put away my things from the last class and get out my things for my next class, art. I just grab a pencil because it's the first day and all I'm going to do is listen to the teacher talk about themselves so.

just as I close my locker none other than jack himself walks up to me and takes my schedule from me and places his arm on my shoulder which earns me several mean looks from multiple girls.

"hey babe" he says looking over my schedule. "Looks like we'll be getting to know a lot of each" he says with a mischievous grin. "and why is that? " I ask fearing the worse. "well according to this we've got every class together except one" he says using that same half smile from earlier. right when I was about to respond a girl walks up to us and starts talking. "jack you don't always have to be a sleaze you know that right?" she says helping me get out from his grasp. "oh how sweet little Alice is jealous of the new girl" he says mocking her. "only jealous because she has enough brain not to fall for you" she says smiling. "whatever." he says addressing her "see you in a couple minutes" he say winking at me and walking off to meet up with his best friend jack Johnson.
