True Epilogue
Izuku MidoriyaUpon hearing word from Aizawa that there is villainous activity at the campus of U.A., I incinerate my preparations for sliding into bed for a good night's rest and bolt out the door of my house. With the activation of One For All: Full Cowling, a myriad of electric jolts of a vivid green are emitted from my body. Streaking through the air like an electrified missile of emerald, I promptly arrive at Ground Beta of U.A.
Mr. Aizawa mentioned something about an explosive quirk, I think to myself as my hands and feet press down against the ground from being airborne. Is this where I finally get to encounter Kacchan? I mean, I could always be g-getting my hopes up, but if Kacchan was taken by the villains... So far, there's only been one villain I've heard of that remotely reminds me of Kacchan, and that's Zero, or Zero Escape. There are no reports on his quirk, but he could just be trying to lay low. Sprinting towards Ground Beta, a massive glacier of ice threatening to rend the sky greets my eyes. This ice...looks like something Todoroki-kun could've made. Don't start thinking about him now.
Now within a proximity close enough to the structure of ice to identify a dark, tall figure enclosed within it, I safely conclude that Aizawa is the one present within the ice. Flicking my middle finger against the underside of my thumb, a high-speed disc of neon green launches forth at the looming ice prison, cleanly slicing diagonally through the top half and yet leaving enough of a rugged impression to send a tremor downwards through it. Watching as the body of ice is weakened by the branching webs drilling along the surface of the ice, Aizawa is able to use brute force in order to shatter the radiant structure into thousands of gleaming fragments.
"A-Are you okay, Mr. Aizawa?" I hastily inquire, glancing at his capture weapon to see that it's been finely severed, leaving the new ends of the cloth as sharp, wavy arcs. "Are any villains still nearby?" I twiddle my thumbs in discomfiture.
With a bemused, slightly disoriented countenance, Aizawa replies, "Thanks, kid." Brushing himself off, he offers a perfunctory exhale. "Unfortunately, you just missed the recondite villain."
J-Just missed? "Which direction—"
"Midoriya." The gelid mention of my name bolts my jaw shut. "I need you to remain calm, all right?" I nod as an acerbic, harrowing taste strokes my tongue. "Good. The villain S has two quirks. We have only seen his ice quirk...until recently. What is his second quirk? He is capable of producing flames from his left half."
Flames...from his left half? Ice. Fire. Right. Left. Half and half.
"Half-hot...half-cold," I whisper timorously as sweat begins to collect along my brow and back. "T-Todoroki-kun? But he..."
"I love you, Midoriya."
"...I was simply playing with you."
"Well, I'm so fucking sorry that that fear is what compels your unwarranted, unheroic demeanor."
"Let me go."
"...died almost three years ago. But h-he's S? He's a villain? He's the most wanted villain, on top of th-that?"
If this is the truth, then what happened to him? According to the public, S is ruthless. S is remorseless. S is appallingly sadistic. S has slain hundreds. Unbeknownst to the public, S c-could be Shouto Todoroki. But...does that really add up?
Aizawa places his hand on my shoulder. "One final thing. Think you can handle it?" I vacantly nod, attempting to gulp down the constricting lump in my throat. "His infamous partner is Zero, whose quirk involves explosions from his palms." Kacchan! "How do I know? I heard and saw an explosion. When I arrived on scene, only two people were currently present. My duel with S was short-lived." Sighing softly, he points into the distance. "Zero Escape is a different story."
