The Losers all stood at the top of the cliff in only their underwear.

"Okay, this feels weird. I keep thinking Bev's going to run up from behind us and jump off first," said Eddie.

"Oh yeah, you told me about that," Mike said. He had only done this once before.

"Sh*t yeah, Mike, you weren't here last time," Richie remembered.

"It was before the rock fight, where we first saved you from Bowers," Bill added.

"Anyway, who's jumping first?" Stan could tell the others were trying to change the subject and attempting to ignore the fact that they were about to jump off a cliff with a 40ft drop into water.

"Eddie?" Richie suggested, and Eddie turned to face him.

"No. No way am I going first."

Richie put his hand on Eddie's back and nudged him slightly. Eddie gripped Richie's shoulder tightly and they both fell from the edge, making a huge splash in the water below.

"Well, that's one way to do it," Stan said.

"Come on," Bill took a deep breath, and jumped over the edge, followed by Stan, Ben, and then Mike.

They all started swimming around the water, laughing and having fun. It was different without Bev, though. She always tricked the boys and ended up splashing them in the face.

"Richie!" Eddie yelled, and splashed his way towards him, climbing on his back, using him to float. He was, however, pushing Richie under the water instead.

"Eddie what the f*ck are you doing?" Richie mumbled, trying not to swallow any of the dirty water.

"I need help, I'm drowning!" Eddie replied, desperately shoving Richie under.

"Drowning me, more like. Seriously, Eddie, we're only in 5 feet of water over here!"

"Not all people are tall!"

Richie laughed.

Bill swam up to them, with Stan sitting on his shoulders, followed by Mike on Ben's shoulders.

"Hey guys!" Stan called.

"Eddie, seeing as you're desperately trying to shove me under the water..."

Eddie knew what he was saying. He splashed them all as he climbed onto Richie's shoulders. Eddie, Stan and Mike all tried to knock each other into the water. They were all laughing and screaming, having so much fun.

After a few minutes, Eddie managed to knock Stan off Bill.

"Eddie!" he yelled, water hitting him in the face as he fell.

"It's a good job I put that waterproof band-aid on your cheek, right?" Eddie laughed, and the others joined in.

About an hour later, they all swam over to the rocks beside the water, tired from all the swimming.

"Does there always have to be only 6 of us here?" Bill asked, noticing the coincidence.
"Oh yeah, that's true," Eddie realised.

"Still feels weird without Bev," said Ben, his face sad again.

"Yeah..." Bill agreed.

"She'll be back," said Richie.

"We know," replied Stan.

"Hey Ben, why do you still carry that backpack around?" Eddie asked, referencing the grey and black backpack that Ben had dragged to the clubhouse with him. He brought it down to the rocks before they raced to the top of the cliff, and now it was sitting beside him.

"I don't know, really."

"Hey, do you have any paper?" asked Bill.

"Yeah, why?"

"While we're all here, we could write that letter to Bev."

"Good idea," said Stan.

Ben took a notebook and a pen out of the backpack and handed it to Bill, who opened it to a clean page and started to write.

"Tell her to come back whenever she can," said Richie, pointing a finger at the paper.

"Richie it's her choice," Stan told him.

"And we're her best friends. Bill was the only one who actually got to say goodbye!"

"I'm s...sure she'll come back soon," Bill said.

"You're signing the letter from all of us right?" Eddie asked, hopeful.

"Of course!" replied Bill, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Bill passed the letter around the group and they all signed it.

"I'll get an envelope and send it later," Bill told them all, before any of them could ask.

🎈I'm so bored, so I'll probably upload a few more chapters today. I have the next two chapters drafted, and they're shorter than this one, probably about 400 words each.🎈
