I cried so much today. Even though we only met a few months ago, Bill Denbrough is one of my best friends. I guess nothing brings people together like fighting a shape-shifting clown in dirty sewers beneath a small Maine town. Anyway, Bill left for California today. I had woken up really early this morning, mainly because I couldn't sleep in the first place, but also because my granddad made me do some work on the farm before I left to see Bill off. He made me shoot two sheep. I hate it. They're animals and they're alive. I'm leaving this place as soon as I can, and even if I am forced to work here for the rest of my life, I won't be killing anything. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it every day. The only reason I do it now if because I fear what my grandfather will do if I disobey him – he's the only family I have left and I don't want to disappoint him.

At around 10:30, I left home and cycled to the ice-cram parlor. I was meeting the others (minus Bill) there. I could tell that everyone was trying their hardest not to cry, and so was I. We had to wait a while for Eddie, he had trouble leaving the house with his overprotecting mother trying to keep him indoors. I know Eddie's mom is a horrible person, but he seemed really sad. I mean, that was expected, one of out best friends was leaving, but he looked...different. Guilty, almost.

We had been talking for a while, and Eddie freaked out when he saw what time it was. It was almost 11, and Bill would be going soon. We all had the same idea and darted down the street. None of us picked up our bikes, we just ran. Stan pushed past all of us to race ahead. He was clearly the most distraught about everything and couldn't bear to think about the possibility of not getting to say goodbye - he was the closest of us to Bill.

As soon as Stan reached Bill, he pulled him into a really tight hug, crying into his shoulder. I'm surprised Bill could even breathe. They stayed like that for a few seconds until Richie stepped forward and said, "Hey, come on Stan, don't hog the man!"

He then hugged Bill himself and laughed, realising the rhyme in his exclamation. Stan looked so pissed.

Bill's dad came over to us and told Bill that he would give him a few minutes to say goodbye, then went and sat in the car with Sharon.

Once again, I noticed Eddie was acting strangely. His attention kept changing and he was looking around nervously. I asked if he was okay.

"Guys, I have to tell you something," he said. Richie put and arm around his shoulder, as if to comfort him. He obviously knew something we didn't, and had tears in his eyes. I was so confused, but when Eddie told us, I understood Richie's sadness.

Eddie took a puff of his inhaler and looked up at the sky to hide the fact that he himself was about to cry. Then, he said, "I'm moving, too."

"What?!" Everyone was shocked.

Richie began to cry and hugged Eddie's shoulder tighter. Eddie leaned into his arm. They were probably the closest pair of the group, and I can't imagine what it was like for Richie to find out he was leaving, and moving to Conneticut.

"I guess that's not as far as Bill..." Stan said.

"Yeah, but...Bill's parents will probably let him come back and visit you all. I feel like my mom won't let me step foot on this town again once we've left." Eddie was desperately trying not to break down.

"She'd better!" Richie shouted. He didn't seem as happy to talk about Mrs. K as he normally is.

"I hope she does, Rich...but you know her..."

"Yup, I sure do," he smirked. And the Trashmouth was back.

"Beep beep, Richie," Stan sniffed.

"Bill, come on! We need to go soon!" Bill's father's voice came from the driver's side. This was it.

"Give me a minute!"

Bill turned back to face us, his eyes red. "I h...have to go..."

Everyone was crying at this point, even me, and I hadn't known Bill for as long as some of the others. We all gathered around him in a group hug. We all said how we would miss him and told him to enjoy his new life in California. When we broke apart, Bill stood up.

"See you, Losers..."

He was about to get into the car, but then he walked over to the front yard and picked up his bike. He walked it over to Stan and told him that he wanted him to keep it

"You want me to have your bike?"

Bill nodded. Stan smiled.

"Now, I've really got to go..."

Stan hugged him one last time before he got into the car. The 5 of us waved as the car drove down the street. Stan, Eddie and Richie were wrecks, which makes sense, as they had known Bill since they were really young.

When the car was out of sight, Stan dropped Silver onto the sidewalk and hugged me, sobbing into my shoulder.

"We're never going to see him again," he mumbled into my jacket.

"We will, Stan," Ben comforted him.

"I don't know how I'm going to cope next week," Richie chuckled, and took his glasses off to wipe them on his shirt.

"Neither do I," Ben said. "I mean, I only met you guys in June and look at me."

We were quiet for a few moments, then Stan stood up straight and adjusted his shirt.

"I'm going to go home."

"I'll walk with you. Your house is on the way to the farm," I said

"Yeah, I'm going to head to the library."

Ben, Stan and I said goodbye to Richie and Eddie and walked down the street towards town. We picked our bikes up from outside the ice-cream shop and went home.

Today has been so sad, when I made friends with the rest of the Losers, I would never have imagined that I would be saying goodbye to them so soon.

🎈So here's the first chapter from Mike's POV, hope you like it. I think I'm going to skip where they find out about people moving and just go straight to when they move. We all know they'd find out, be sad and cry when they find out. I feel like that would get boring after 3 chapters like that🎈
