It has been a week since Bill left, and everyone is still feeling down. Partially because we miss Bill, but also because Eddie left today. He had managed to convince his mother to let us watch him go, and we all immediately made our way to his house.

Eddie's mom told him that they were leaving the minute she finished packing the car, and not a second later. Luckily for us, Mrs. Kaspbrak is very overweight and it took her quite a while to carry the final few boxes to the car. The removal van had left a few hours earlier with the furniture, so there wasn't much for them to pack into their car.

"Hey, Eddie..." Ben said as he hugged him.

I don't think Richie could think of anything to say. That was the quietest I have ever seen him. He really didn't want Eddie to leave.

"We're going to miss you so much," I said.

"I'm going to miss you too, Mike..."

Eddie must have noticed how Richie was staring at the floor, and he asked if he was okay. Richie didn't respond with words. Instead, he stepped forward and threw his arm around Eddie's shoulders.

"O...Okay..." Eddie squeaked, hugging Richie back. They must have been stood there for two whole minutes, hugging, not moving the muscle. They only broke apart when Stan cleared his throat.

"God, you're so f*cking small," Richie said, obviously trying to make the moment less morbid.

"Shut up Rich," Eddie sniffed.

"Oh sh*t, whose mother am I going to make fun of now?"

Typical Richie. Eddie smiled and rolled his eyes. Richie smiled back. Ben, Stan and I just stood there, watching, not wanting to interrupt their moment.

We all hugged Eddie, who eventually burst out crying and had to use his inhaler multiple times. In fact, he used it so much, it ran out. Luckily, Richie happened to have one in his back pocket. I have no idea why - he doesn't have asthma.

Surprisingly, we didn't have as much time to say goodbye to Eddie as we did with Bill. Before we knew it, Eddie's mother came out of the house with the last box and put it in the car. She turned to Eddie.

"Come on, we're going," she said sternly. Eddie nodded.

"I'm sorry guys," he said quietly, looking down at the ground.

"Eddie! Come on!" Sonia yelled as she opened the car door and sat down, shaking the whole vehicle.

Eddie looked back at us one more time, and turned to obey his mother, but Richie turned him around and pulled him into one last hug.

"I'm going to miss you so much, Spaghetti," he sobbed.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really going to miss you too, Trashmouth, even though all of your jokes are terrible."

We could hear Richie crying now, and Eddie hugged him tighter. They really are close friends.

Sonia stepped out of the car and screamed at her son, "Eddie! Get off him! You've no idea how many disease that boy has!"

Richie pulled away and wiped his eyes. I think he would have held on forever.

"I'm sorry..."

Richie nodded, and Eddie followed his mother into the car. Once again, we were all crying. I don't think any of us could leave without the rest of us crying, we were so close, united by our traumas.

Eddie stared at us with red, puffy eyes through the window of the passenger seat, and mouthed something to Richie, whose eyes widened. I couldn't quite make out what he said, and I don't think Ben or Stan could either. We waved as the car reversed out of the driveway and drove down the street. Richie pulled the three of us into an unexpected hug. I've never known Richie be so quiet and intimate.

"I'm going to...go home..." he said when he stepped out of the hug. He turned and ran down the street in the direction of his house, leaving Ben, Stan and I outside what was once the Kaspbraks' house.

The other two came over to mine for a few hours, and we talked about the memories we had with Eddie, Bill and Bev. Things will be really weird now without Eddie ranting about diseases whenever anyone touches anything even the slightest bit dirty. It will be weird without having Bill stuttering to us when he spoke. And, I don't think Richie will be making any snarky comments for a while...

🎈This is probably so boring because it's so similar to the last chapter, and the next few will probably the same. Honestly, I had no clue what to write next after I finished typing up the script part I wrote, and had this idea. Turns out it's not the greatest idea after all🎈
