Third person' P.O.V
"What do you think you're doing in here?" Spirit finally made her presence known to the mermaid.
"Spirit," Melody gasped.
"What is all this?!" the otter continued, pointing to everything.
"It's, uh...my collection," Melody explained.
"I see," Spirit held a ring in her hand, turning it around. Then she threw the ring away.
"IF YOUR MOTHER KNEW ABOUT THIS, SHE'D-!" Spirit started.
"You're not going to tell her, are you?!" Delphi freaked out.
"Please don't tell! She'd never understand," Melody pouted.
"Melody, you're under a lot of pressure down here. Let's go home and I'll get you some -" Spirit grabbed Melody's hand, guiding her out.
Until the cavern grew dark.
"What do you suppose-?" Melody started to ask, swimming out the cavern's door to the surface.
"Wait, where are you going?" Spirit asked, but the question went unanswered.
Melody's head broke the surface of the water, blue hair dripping. She took her hair away from her blue eyes and looked at the ship in front of her, which was setting off fireworks.
Melody smiled, and giggled.
Delphi and Spirit surfaced.
"Melody, what are you-?" Spirit asked, getting cutoff by another firework.
Spirit looked over to the ship, and her hazel eyes widened.
"Jumping jellyfish!" she screamed in surprise.
Melody started to make her way towards the ship, imitating a dolphin. Delphi followed her lead.
"Melody! Melody! Come back!" Spirit yelled to the two.
Melody swam next to the ship, jumping up and climbing the side.
There was a ledge with a window into the ship that she could sit on and look. Making sure that the humans couldn't see her, she looked inside.
She saw sailors all over the deck, some dancing, some just jumping around, and the others were playing instruments.
Melody thought the music sounded great, beautiful even, when she heard the sound of something gorgeous. A lively shrill, but soft sound was flowing through the air like silk.
Melody looked around the deck, hoping to find the source of the sound.
After a few moments, she finally caught sight of who was making such a sweet sound, and her breath faltered in her throat.
She was seeing the most beautiful girl that she ever saw. Her brown hair contrasted to her sky blue eyes. She wore an orange long sleeve lace over a gray short sleeve, black shorts, and orange converse. She had a skinny frame, almost delicate, but her body language tells Melody that she can take care of herself.
"Quiet! Quiet everyone!" a guy clad in blue shushed everyone. Everyone, and the girl, stopped playing their instruments while everyone else stopped dancing.
"It is my honor to present Princess Alice a very special, very expensive birthday present," he said, taking out a velvet black box.
"Jay, you shouldn't have. I might have to tell Nya," Alice joked, punching Jay's arm playfully.
"This is actually from Kai and Nya," Jay sputtered.
Alice giggled, she loved teasing Jay about Nya. She was the only one who knows that Jay and Nya have a secret relationship.
