Third person's P.O.V

A week has passed since Melody saved Alice from the shipwreck and no one knows about what happened except the ones that were there in the first place.

Melody's attitude has changed drastically though, it hasn't gone unnoticed. Especially by her own mother.

She was humming to herself as she swam out of her room that morning. Sitting in front of a mirror, she slid her hands through her hair, and picked up a red flower.

Melody smiled. She knew red was the color for love and passion, not just anger and blood.

She held the flower in her hand as she was on her way out the door, but bumped into her mom.

"Oh!" Melody said.

"Good morning mom," Melody squeezed past her, putting the red flower in her mom's hair along the way.

Queen Serenity followed her daughter with her pink eyes until Melody danced out of sight.

It wasn't until right then that Queen Serenity realized that she recognized this behavior, as she herself had it before.

Melody laid on an underwater rock that had flowers on the elevated end.

Spirit paced under the elevated end.

"Okay, so far so good. I don't think the queen knows. But, it'll be hard to keep something this big a secret for long," Spirit voiced.

A petal fell on her face. Spirit shook her head harshly to get it off.

"She loves me," Melody picked a petal off and let it float down.

"She loves me not," she frowned.

"She loves me!" she gasped, gripping the last petal.

"I knew it!" she giggled.

"Melody, stop talking crazy," Spirit sat next to Melody's blue transparent tailfins.

"I have to see her again. Tonight! I can ask a seagull to help me!" Melody planned.

"Can you get your head out of the clouds and back to the water where it goes?" Spirit asked.

"I'll swim up to the castle, and Delphi can splash around or make dolphin noises to get her attention, and then-" Melody said.

"Down here is your home!" Spirit pointed to the sea floor.

Spirit swam before Melody and stopped her.

"Melody, listen to me. The human world, it's a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they have up there," Spirit sat Melody back down on the rock.

"The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?

Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea

Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain't happy
They sad 'cause they in their bowl
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry
Guess who's gon' be on the plate?
