Third person's P.O.V

Alice leaned against some rocks near the castle, playing her violin, though she was faltering.

On her neck sat the necklace that Kai and Nya got her. She only wears it around Jay, Nya, and Kai. Every other time, she would rather not wear it. She hates jewelry.

Jay sat on the sand near her, listening to her play. He sometimes offered advice.

"What's on your mind, Ally?" he asked when Alice completely stopped playing.

"I can't get that voice out of my head," Alice replied.

Melody's voice rang through Alice's head over and over and that's all she heard.

"You know we've looked everywhere. Are you sure this person exists?" Jay said.

"Wow. That hurts, Jay. You think I'm delusional or something?" Alice teased.

"I...that's not what I meant. I was just-"

"You think I'm crazy for thinking a female saved me with a beautiful voice and an even more beautiful appearance and I want to marry her."

"That's...okay, maybe. I just thinking that you may have been hallucinating from all that blood loss," Jay finally got out.

"Hmm, perhaps, but I'm going to search a while longer. Then, I'll call it quits. Deal?" Alice reluctantly said.

"Deal," Jay smiled.

"Take a walk with me?" Alice asked.

"Lead the way."

Spirit and Delphi panted for breath, having dragged Melody from the sea floor to the surface in such little time.

Melody reached up to her blue hair and pushed the strands that were in her blue eyes away.

Seeing her newfound knees, she silently gasped.

Pulling up a leg, she smiled. Finally! Her dreams are coming true!

She wiggled her five toes.

"Melody has legs!" Delphi exclaimed.

"Human legs! My nerves are shot. This is a catastrophe!" Spirit cried.

"What would her mother say? I'll tell you what her mother'd say. She'd say she's gonna kill herself an otter, that's what!" she panicked.

"I'm going to march myself straight home and tell her-" Spirit tried swimming back to the underwater palace.

Melody stopped and immediately grabbed Spirit in her hands, ferociously shaking her head.

"Don't you shake your head at me," Spirit said.

"Maybe there's still time. If we can get that snake to give you back your voice, you could go home with all the normal fish and just be-" Spirit thought.

She stopped when she saw the pleading look in Melody's eyes, and her pout. She wanted nothing more to stay on land and be with her love.

"Just be miserable for the rest of your life. All right, all right. I'll help you," Spirit relented.

Melody immediately grinned and kissed Spirit's furry cheek, then set her back on the rocks.

"Humans have something covering themselves from the waist down..." Spirit looked around for something.

She spotted part of a cream sail. She shrugged and grabbed that and some rope to hold it up.

It was sloppy work, but it worked for the time being. A cream colored sail skirt with a rope at the waist, holding it up.
