"Do you ever find someone running away from you?" Perri chuckled as him and Jordan drove to the dance studio, ready to get started with the tour rehearsals, this was a busy time for the guys, another tour, Perri moving house, a new radio show, everything moving quickly, but the males were loving every moment of it, living for the rush of this. "Depends on what you mean?" Jordan chuckles as Perri rolls his eyes, but his foot tapping to the beat of the song. "I swear I only said I was grabbing my phone, the next minute she was gone" Perri mumbles, as Jordan shakes his head "fan girls for you" Jordan smiles, as Perri nods his head, Jordan was probably right, but he still couldn't shake the feeling of seeing her piercing green eyes somewhere before.
As Jordan and Perri enter the studio they can't help but feel the floor vibrate, the loud music pumping through the studio, reminding them that they were home.
"How was the meeting then?" Ashley questions, as he walks over to Jordan and Perri, embracing them in a congratulations hug, Ashley couldn't be more proud of his brother, watching his own achievements come to life, proving that if you worked hard and dreamed big that the inevitable was possible. Where as Ashley's thoughts about Perri couldn't be more proud of positive, from the small dot with wild hair who never said a word, to talking every morning to thousands of people tuning into to listen to him talk, even if was about a giant cookie he had ordered the previous week. "It was good, I really can't wait" Perri laughs, as he takes a bottle of water from the bucket, drinking it as the music playing in the background fades, the rest of the dancers gathering around talking about the future, what was to come and what would be next.
"Do you ever think that one day this will all be different" Perri whispers, as the group goes quiet, taking in his words. "I don't want to think about that" Mitch groans, as he throws one of the smaller beanbags Perri's way, knocking the six foot male over slightly. "No I'm serious, this has been our life for so many years, but one day it's going to be a memory" Perri mumbles, as Jordan clicks his knee, not intentional, but it reminds Perri that what he was saying was true, one day this would all end, even if they still choreographed and did one off dances with the new generation of diversity, there would be a day where they stopped dancing. "Why'd you have to put that thought in my head" Sam mutters, as he tugs on his long black locks. "I'm just saying what everyone who follows us is thinking" Perri mumbles. "Well let's not dwell it, we've got five routines to get perfect" Ashley states, as all of the group disperse to their starting positions for one of the routines for the upcoming tour.
Meanwhile, in London Esme was planning the next twelve weeks of the kiss breakfast show, getting in touch with managers finding out new song release dates, seeing if any artists want an interview on the show, something Esme loved to do, she was highly organised, being organised gave her some form of reality. "Esme, are you coming for coffee?" Emily calls from the doorway, as Esme looks up briefly, shaking her head. "I need to finish this" Esme chimes, as Emily rolls her eyes, shaking her own head. "Let me rephrase that, you're coming to get coffee now" Emily chuckles, as Esme takes her turn to roll her eyes, Esme knew better than to argue with Emily, knowing she would just drag her out of the studio.
As the two females walk to Costa, they smaller group they had gone with consisting of other management and helpers was engaged in conversation about the new KissFM breakfast hosts, talking about how great this would now be for the studio, excited to see what's to come. But as Esme passed the new posters being put up, Perri and Jordan's faces everywhere, advertising their next career move, Esme couldn't help but wonder how they cope with it all, knowing they have a tour to prepare for, but it had got to be easier than what it was before Christmas, when Perri was training from 4am in a morning for Dancing On Ice, as well as finishing tour, as Jordan would be doing the radio, rehearsals and a TV show. Esme couldn't understand how they managed to fit everything into their days, as well as find time to sleep, but the more she thought about it she realised Perri never looked tired, and he never openly complained about his schedule, Esme's mind spinning around, maybe she should look at changing some of the schedules, pre-record some shows, give them some time off.
But one thing both of the adults were thinking at the same time, whilst Perri was flipping around the studio with people he called his family, they'd never be friends always family, as Esme walked quietly with the group, her mind drifting, the two younger adults thought about how life was going to change, it didn't always have to be tomorrow, it could be the future, but it would happen, one day everything would change, but little did they know that everything was going to change a lot quicker than they both thought.
