Third Persons POV;

It had been a month, maybe a month and a half since Perri had last seen Esme. Since they had shared a moment, since Perri had kissed Esme.
Esme still worked at the kiss studios, however girl with a microphone became quieter and quieter, but the reaction to her never died down, everyone was still a buzz of where she was, trying to find out who she was.

The hours drew closer to the day that would be the Kissfm ball, the party that everyone always spoke about, the party that was remembered and always topped the year before.

"Jamie, honestly just forget about it. I'm not doing it anymore" Esme muttered, as she decluttered her room for the fifth time that week, and most likely the second time that day. She was adamant she wasn't attending the ball, and had finally got Perri off her mind, the knowledge of how he could kiss her and still be with Olivia fresh in her mind as the day it had happened, they were still loved up, news articles talking about how they were to move in together, videos still circulating about the internet about whether she was in fact pregnant with his baby, whether there really would be a baby Kiely on the way. "Es, I'm not going to let you waste away over some male, I don't care what you say" Jamie retorts, ignoring Esme's plee about how she didn't want to be known to the world. "I even got a mask, we made is mascaraed this year, fully in your favour" Jamie smirked, as Esme's eyes light up, the fear that people may not know who she is leaving her mind, maybe this would work in her favour. But she would still have to see Perri, and deep down she knew she wouldn't be ready for that.

Meanwhile, across London, Perri and Jordan were sat in the kiss offices, planning their next few shows, trying to get as much as they could done before the tour rehearsals rolled around and they really did lose their social lives. "So, Esme?" Perri whispers, all eyes finally landing on him, everyone in the room silent, no one knew whether she would return back to the studio, and everyone knew if she had her way she wouldn't, Esme had finally left everything up to Emily, the person who everyone thought the show was ran by, who ran the whole of the kiss shows, but the truth lay in the ratings, producers and executives watching the ratings go down, watching the listeners disappear, and day by day kiss breakfast was slowly dying out.

"Esme was just some paperwork girl Perri, we've been through this a million times, you need to be focusing on a way to get your viewers back in" Emily mumbled, as her own eyes scan over the ratings the reality hitting them that the show was dying out. "Girl with a microphone" Perri mumbled back, as all eyes fall back on the twenty four year old. "If we have girl with a microphone on a show maybe the ratings would go back up, I mean she has been quiet for a while" Jordan continued, as the producers nod their heads, agreeing with what both males were saying.

You can't ignore me forever, please just talk to me..

Perri sighed to himself as Emily called a break, her own mind spinning with how she could talk Esme around to the idea, Perri just longing for Esme to acknowledge his existence, where as Esme who felt a world away from the kiss studio was slowly curling her hair, a Cinderella to a ball playing in her own mind. "Do you think Esme will come tonight?" Perri whispered to his best friend, as Jordan gave him the concerning eyebrows. "Do you really think she will?" Jordan replied, but the concern that his best friend had fallen for another person whilst being in a relationship with someone who hated the person he had fell for was evident in his voice. "I just need to see her" Perri whispered. "Right, you guys are free to go, where gonna try with your ideas and regroup on Monday, don't forget that party starts at 7pm, you both need to be back here in 5 hours for photos and interviews" The event manager mumbled before leaving the two of them in the room. Jordan and Perri both looked at each other before nodding their heads.

As the two best friends headed different directions, Esme twirled around in her Cinderella dress, the moment was finally happening, something she had wished for, for what seemed her whole life, the chance to be accepted in a place she wanted her career in, but the fact was it would never be Esme up on that stage, it would always be 'girl with a microphone' for the time being that was anyway.

"You look beautiful" Jamie states, standing behind his sister, the proud smile beaming from his face. "Thank you" Esme whispers, a small blush creeping on her face, before the two of them head out of the house and step into the beautiful white limo that was waiting for them, Esme pulling the mask on to her face.

Jordan and Perri walked side by side, Naomi, Jordan's fiancée walking beside him, as Olivia stepped into their own limo, smiling at the cameras taking photos as Perri checked his phone for the message he wanted to see so desperately.

The only thing connecting both Perri and Esme was what would happen if and when they saw each other, would Esme finally accept that she liked Perri, and would Perri finally break up with Olivia and do what his heart longed to do, but the bigger question on everyone else's minds was; would everyone finally find our Esme's well kept secret, or would she always live in the shadow and never really enter Perri's world.
