"I DON'T WANT TO FORGET HIM, I GOT TO, I KNOW IT'S STUPID, SO FOOLISH, SO NOTHING BUT WHAT CAN I DO? IT RAINS AND IT THUNDERS AND MY HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER"

Walking into the Elliot's Diner, the same diner that Thatcher introduced me too but this time, I am not meeting Thatcher.

"I am so sorry to keep you waiting" I rush over to the booth, "don't worry about it at all" Lieutenant Camille looks up from the menu. "It's good to see you again Olivia" she smiles, "pleasure is all mine Lieutenant" I respond.

"You don't need to call me Lieutenant" she tells me, "everyone usually calls me Camille" she adds.

"Camille, got it" I nod, "may I ask why you invited me for coffee?" I ask, because it really came out of nowhere.

The waitress comes over, taking our order before leaving.

"I was at the academy recently" she starts to answer my question, "and I run into your old instructor from your re-training" she must have read my file.

"You happened to come up and he had nothing but praise for you" she informs me, "and the few times I have had the chance to work with you I believe the praise is well deserved" she continues.

I can't believe someone as inspiration as Lieutenant Camille, is commending my work when she has one of the best track records in the whole of the CFD.

"I wanted to thank you in person for helping me with the dive last shift" she brings up our water save, "oh you don't need to thank me, you were right" I reply. "I know but it took balls to side with me instead of your captain" she mentions, "I just want to save lives" I shrug.

"Spoken like a true firefighter" she nods.

The waitress brings over our coffees, before walking away again.

"Are you happy at 51?" She changes the subject.

"Very" I nod, "they are such great people" I comment, "any particular person keeping you at 51?" It's as though she already knows the answer.

"Not really" I shake my head, I am definitely not going to rant to somebody as respected as Camille about my complicated relationship with my Lieutenant.

"I know Timothy wrongfully transferred you to us" she brings up, "but the reason for the transfer was because you were in a relationship with your commanding officer, right?" She questions.

"Yes, we were together at the time" I answer, "but not anymore" I add.

"I only ask these questions because I want to better understand you" she explains, "because in my opinion, Olivia, your talent and potential is being wasted at 51" she boldly states.

"What do you mean?" I don't understand.

"You remind me of a younger me, Olivia" she admits, "and I want to help you become the best you can be" I feel flattered. "But that's not going to be at 51" she adds, "are you asking me to transfer back to 53?" I question.

"I am" she nods.

"You are such an inspiration Camille and I would be so honoured to have your mentorship" I starts, "but I just can't" I try to decline.

"Don't say no just yet" she interrupts, "just think on it" she places some money on the table before walking off.

Think about what?

Leaving 51?

I can't leave 51, I love every single person there and they have been there for me through everything, I can't just leave. What about Kelly? We are finally good, though back to the complicated stage, but he's all I want.
