"I'm breaking up with you."

Sarah chuckled, but soon stopped when she saw Jughead's serious face. "You can't be serious."

Jughead sighed. "I'm sorry, it's just not working. And I would say the 'it's not you, it's me' bullshit but I was always taught not to lie."

Sarah scuffed. "Wow, is this because of Betty?"

"No Sarah, it's because of the simple fact that I don't like you." Jughead said with more tone than he wanted to project. "....But the way you treat her is very wrong."

"I knew it! You feel bad for her so you're breaking up with me because of her little breakdown that ended her up in the hospital!" Sarah yelled, not caring that she grabbed everyone's attention.

Jughead furrowed his eyebrows. "I wouldn't call it a breakdown Sarah, she literally tried to kill herself because you're mean to her."

"That doesn't sound like my problem."

"You caused your own sister to try and commit suicide and it's not your problem?!" Jughead's voice grew louder after every word. Truth is, he didn't care if the whole school was watching either.

Sarah shrugged. "She's still alive isn't she?"

Jughead scuffed. "Wow, you are truly a heartless jerk." He shook his head as he started backing away.

"Wait....Jug―"

"―No, I'm done with you. Stay away from me, and while you're at it....stay away from Betty too." Jughead whipped around and headed off towards class. Anger was building up inside of his body. Betty committed suicide and Sarah doesn't even care that she was the reason she did it?!

He was truly flabbergasted.

Betty giggled at her friends sitting at her desk in the blue and gold room. "Guys, it was just a peck on the forehead, you're acting like he full-blown made out with me."

"Betty, why are you not shook by this?!" Kevin squealed.

"Because, it's just a peck. Nothing special."

"Nothing special my ass, I don't even think I've seen him kiss Sarah once." Veronica chimed in. "Oh right....because he only dated her because she looks like you!" Veronica gushed with a big smile that went ear to ear.

Betty smiled and rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth to say something but before any words came out the door flung open.

"Elizabeth fucking Cooper!" Sarah stomped in the blue and gold room, looking like she was ready to kill.

Betty inhaled, she didn't know what she did this time. Did she hear her and Jughead in her room? Did she just want to yell at her for the heck of it? Betty didn't know, but the anxiousness inside of her body was killing her.

"Listen here you little slut, don't try and take my boyfriend away from me just because you wanted to be selfish and tried to die." Sarah spat out angrily as she walked over to Betty's desk.

Betty looked down. She might have changed, but she was still defenseless when it came to Sarah.

"She wasn't being selfish!" Veronica yelled, standing up.

Sarah put a hand up. "Oh please, she just wanted attention. If that's not selfish, then I don't know what is."

Kevin stood up beside Veronica. "No, it's selfish to be cruel to Betty all of these years and then get mad when she actually had enough of you."

Sarah narrowed her eyes at Kevin. "Oh look, the gay boy speaks."

"Yeah, and the gay boy also―"

"―Stop it! Stop arguing!" Betty yelled out, tired of their bickering. "I'm tired of this!"

"Sarah, get over yourself―he doesn't even like you!" Betty exclaimed. "Do you ever get tired of putting people down just to make yourself feel good?"

Sarah shrugged. "Not really."

"Obviously." Betty stated before she walked around Sarah, heading out of the blue and gold.

She walked through the hallways, trying to find a certain red head.

"Hey, Betty."

Betty turned around to the male voice calling out her name, sighing when she saw who it was.

Archie Andrews. Betty thought bitterly. Just great.

Betty crossed her arms. "What do you want?"

Archie cleared his throat. "Uh, look, I know I did some messed up things to you....and I want to make it right."

Betty scuffed. He couldn't possibly be serious.

"I'm serious. I'm sorry....for everything." He said, having an apologetic expression. "I regret everything."

Betty raised an eyebrow, mentally contemplating if she wanted to trust him.

"I just want to make things right. I feel awful."

Betty looked down and nodded. She had no intentions in letting him 'make things right' with her, but hey, whatever it takes to end this conversation....she was up for it.

"So....yes?"

Betty looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Yes to what exactly?"

"Yes to that you forgive me."

Betty furrowed her eyebrows. "I didn't say I forgave you, but if you want to try and make it right, then be my guest."

Archie nodded. "Okay."

Betty looked behind her and saw Cheryl at her locker. "Uh, I have to go, Archie." She stated before she turned around and sped walked towards Cheryl.

"Cheryl...."

Cheryl turned around and smiled when she saw Betty. "Hey, Betty."

That smile made Betty feel weird. Cheryl had never smiled at her before, nonetheless talk to her. Maybe because she was still trying to convince Betty to get even with Sarah.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Cheryl asked, turning back to her locker.

"I want to do it."

Cheryl whipped back around with raised eyebrows. "Wait, really?"

Betty nodded, she never been so sure of anything in her life. "I want to get even."

Cheryl smiled brightly. "Okay, first things first...." She turned back around to close her locker, then turned back to Betty. "You have to walk like you own this place, like you're untouchable."

"What? Why?"

"Because, if you don't have the walk....you're never going to become popular." Cheryl stated. "Every popular girl has the walk. It's probably what makes most of them popular anyways. People see their confidence, and they immediately praise them."

Betty furrowed her eyebrows. "How do I do it?"

"Just follow me."

Cheryl then started walking―strutting if you will―down the hallway like she was on a runway. Flipping her hair, switching as she walked, and flirtatiously winking at every boy who checked her out.

Betty then followed her, trying to do as Cheryl did, but utterly failed.

Cheryl turned around and furrowed her eyebrows at Betty. "Betty, you look like a headless chicken, stop trying so hard. Just walk."

Betty nodded and just started walking, but it looked more awkward then when she did the walk Cheryl did. She groaned, this was definitely going to be a work in progress.

Cheryl sighed. "This is going to take some work."
