Betty walked into class and sat behind Cheryl. "Hey, Cheryl."
Cheryl turned around to look at Betty and smiled. "Hey, Betty."
"So, I think I want to keep doing the plan." Betty said in a hushed voice so no one could hear them.
Cheryl raised an eyebrow. "And how long will it be this time until you back out once again?"
"I won't, I promise." Betty assured. "Sarah has done too much damage in my life and I want―wait...scratch that, I need to get her back."
Cheryl smirked, but before she could open her mouth to speak, Betty interrupted.
"But, I have one condition."
Cheryl raised an eyebrow.
"The only people who get hurt during this is Sarah and the jocks." Betty stated. "They are the only people who made my life hell, so only them."
Cheryl nodded, but her face changed to a worried expression. "What did....what did the football players do to you? I mean, I knew they always picked on you but the night after the football game, it was like....something changed. Like, you looked more broken."
Betty swallowed, memories of that night flooding back into her mind. It took her months to finally get over what happened, but the jocks talking to her as if nothing happened, and Cheryl bringing it up just made all of her past emotions come back again.
But this time she didn't want to cry, she didn't feel sadness. No, she felt anger. She was angry that those disgusting jocks would even do such a thing, she was angry that those jocks made a joke out of it the next day, she was angry that when her sister found out about it she literally joked about it for months in Betty's face, and most importantly, she was angry she didn't have anyone to talk to. She had Kevin, but he was on a trip with his family at the time. She didn't have anyone to talk to, so she just took it day by day, shoving all of her emotions down so no one could see how truly broken she was inside, because no doubt would they have started bullying her more if they saw how vulnerable she was.
Betty cleared her throat, pushing back all of those painful memories. "Nothing, I'm fine Cheryl."
Cheryl sighed. "Are you sure?"
Betty nodded as she tried to force a smile. "Yeah, I'm sure."
Cheryl raised an eyebrow. "I'm not stupid Betty, I know you're lying. But, you don't have to tell me right now if you don't want to. I get you don't completely trust me just yet. But I can make you a promise." She paused, smirking at Betty. "We're going to make their lives a living hell. So, I have a new plan."
Betty raised an eyebrow at Cheryl's sinister smirk. Was it bad she was starting to get worried?

Betty walked into the auditorium and inhaled sharply when she saw Sarah and Jughead were sitting in nearby seats.
Betty quickly made her way towards Kevin who was by the stage and tapped his shoulder.
Kevin turned around and smiled. "Hey B, you ready for your audition?"
Betty sighed. "Okay, two things...." She lowered her voice so no one around them could hear her. "One, I didn't prepare anything to sing. And two, Jughead and Sarah are trying out?"
Kevin smiled. "Okay one, we're doing the musical 'Les Misérables' so I'll be giving you all a song to sing from it, and might I just say I have the perfect song for you to sing. And two, yes. Sarah some how got Jughead to try out and they're both trying out for Cosette and Marius."
