Betty walked to the one place she thought she'd never see again. She stood in front of the double doors, hesitating to walk in. Did she really want to do this?

Of course not, but this isn't about you, Betty! Cheryl needs her.

Betty sighed, pushing back her thoughts as she walked inside the one and only Southside bar, the Whyte Wyrm.

She immediately went to the bar, ignoring all of the stares on her. She went to the counter and smiled when she saw Toni serving drinks.

Toni looked up and her face dropped when she met Betty's gaze. She quickly made her way towards Betty. "Betty, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Nice to see you too." Betty muttered.

"Seriously, Sweet pea is here today and if he sees you I don't know if Jughead's going to be here in time before Sweet pea does something." Toni explained.

"Good thing we won't be here long."

Toni furrowed her eyebrows. "What?"

Betty sighed. "I heard about you and Cheryl. Someone exposed her to the whole school."

A wave of worry passed through Toni's face. "Is she okay?"

"I don't know. I didn't get a chance to talk to her but she looked as if she was about to cry. The whole school knows about her now, and I would be the one to comfort her but I figured she'd rather be in your arms." Betty explained, hoping Toni would agree to go. "She needs you, Toni."

"Okay, let me grab my jacket and we can go." She ran back to the bar and grabbed her serpent jacket.

Betty smiled, she already knew Cheryl meant a lot to Toni from how fast she was running to grab her stuff.

Toni ran back to Betty. "Okay, I'm ready. Let's go." She practically sprinted out the door, dragging Betty with her.

The whole car ride home Betty filled Toni in with the whole situation as well as call Cheryl and Kevin to come to her house.

Betty needed answers, and she knew there was only one place to get them.

Just then her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and groaned, she didn't have time for this right now.

"Are you going to answer him?" Toni asked as she looked at the ringing phone from the passenger side.

"I wasn't planning on it." Betty muttered as she made a turn into the Northside.

Toni sighed. "B, he made a mistake―"

"―Damn right he did. He made a lot of mistakes. I can't just forgive him every single time he apologizes." Betty interrupted.

"Look, I'm not saying to forgive him, just hear him out. You all spent a hell of a long time talking to each other, but maybe it's time you actually listen to the other person. It's good to hear the other person's point of view."

Betty sighed. "Curse your intelligent advice."

Toni laughed. "Yeah, you're welcome."

Betty groaned as she picked up the phone and slid her finger across the screen.

She took a deep breath. "Hello?"

"Betty, oh my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean anything I've ever said to you―"

"―Don't." Betty sighed. "What do you want, Jughead?"

"I want to talk. I have so much to say but I think it'd be a better conversation in person." He answered.
