ten; i can lie well

"You know how great that sounds? Does he really cook Italian food every night?" Anthony asked as we stepped off the elevator, doughnuts in our hands and I nodded. "I'm not even Italian, but he insists on making food every night." I said and he laughed, opening the glass door to the bullpen. I looked over to JJ's old office and I sighed, seeing it empty, sad she wouldn't be here with us anymore since she was gone.

"The new office looks great." He said and I nodded, and sighed. "And it's way bigger. Now we can add a fridge and a microwave." He said and I nodded laughing. He looked over to the briefing room seeing Hotch and the team getting ready. "I'll be there in a sec. I have to grab a file." I said and he nodded going to the room. 

After I walked into the new office I placed my stuff down and grabbed the file Hotch had placed on my desk.

I walked out and into the briefing room, file in hand, seeing Rossi next to a huge box of paper. I held my doughnut and looked around the room. "Ah you're here." Rossi said looking at me and I gave him my best fake smile.

"Mhm, I had to grab a doughnut. Yours is on my desk." I said to Spencer and he nodded, Derek snorted. "We have 2 new transfers. "Hotch said and I raised an eyebrow. We heard footsteps and we all turned seeing two beautiful women. 

I looked at the shorter girl who had black hair and had green and yellow eyes. She gave everyone a smile and they all smiled back. I looked at the taller woman and my eyes widened.

"Oh my-" I said but she cut me off. "Hadley!?" She asked and ran up to me hugging me. "Look at you, you're so big!" She said and I felt my throat go dry. "Alyssa, how are you- what are you doing here?" I asked looking at the girl and Emily stood up. "You guys know each other?" She asked and Alyssa nodded. "Yeah, I used to babysit her when she was younger. I didn't know you were in the FBI." She said and I nodded, not knowing what to say.

"This is Alyssa Larsen, she came from Hostage Negotiation. And this is-" Hotch was going to say but he got cut off by the girl. "Sofía Wilson. I'm your new intern." She said sticking out her hand and Anthony shook it. "Anthony Walton, this is Hadley LaMontagne." He said and I nodded.

"How's Jocelyn? It's been forever since I've seen her."She stated and I gulped and cleared my throat.

"Jocelyn- she's um, she passed away." I said and he mouth fell open. "What? How? What happened?" She asked and I made brief eye contact with Spencer and licked my dry lips, still holding onto the doughnut.  I bit into it and got ready to leave when Emily called out Derek and my name. "Um, Hadley, Derek." She said and pointed to the glass and I saw Ellie walking into the bullpen with Agent Waldorf.

I looked at Derek and placed my doughnut on the table to walk down to see the young girl.
