twenty-nine; a mother's love endures through all.

Giggling was heard in the other room. William LaMontagne Jr. heard his 4 year old sister laughing as her favorite show was on.  Hadley looked on the TV as Fraggle Rock was playing. Hadley got onto the arm of couch and jumped to the other side- a game she played.

She walked over to the other love seat and got ready to jump, but her brother caught her mid air as she was about to land on the other arm. "Hadley- this ain't safe." He said looking down at his baby-sister. The 12 year old boy normally babysat her after school when their father- William LaMontagne Sr. was at his job.

"C'mon, you need to eat some dinner. Pops' goin' to kill me if I don't feed you." He said and placed her in her booster seat at the dinner table. He made her some Mac N' Cheese, which was her favorite and then she ate it.

Later on that night- he put his sister to bed. His dad had called and said he wouldn't be home until after 2- So Will decided that he would stay with his sister since she was afraid of the dark.

He laid down on her bed and she looked up at her older brother with her big brown eyes. "Can you tell me what she was wike?" She asked and Will nodded and put his arm over his sisters head.

"Mmmm. Mommy was beautiful. She had blonde hair and green eyes. Just like yours. She would always say that a mother's love endures through all. She loved us very much. Don't ever forget that, Hadley." He said and the soft snores from the girl indicated that she fell asleep through the story- per usual. He looked over to the rocking chair in her room- that was dimly lit and he sat on the chair- staying in the room until his father came.

Present.

"Did you do your homework?" I asked Ellie on the phone- It was past 10 and Spencer was in the shower of Anthony's parents house.

"Yeah- I did. I finished my math work and my english work." She said and I smiled into the phone and spoke. "Good job! Dad's going to be proud of you." I said and then the door opened and JJ walked in. I clenched my jaw and then spoke into the phone. "Listen, baby. I'll have dad call you, okay? I have to talk to Auntie JJ. Make sure to listen to Uncle Will." I said and she told me she loved me and hung up.

I looked at JJ and she licked her lips. "Can we talk?" She asked and I shrugged and looked down. "I guess." I sighed and she waked into the room and sighed.

"Hadley- my intention was never to hurt you or Spencer." She said and I licked my lips and rolled my eyes. " JJ I don't want to do -" I said but she cut me off.
