Dawn came across a huge barn as she decided to go and explore the extensive rich green lawn of Richard's massive estate.
She was to go to work in the morning but they called her up, telling her she wasn't needed. Dejected at first but Dawn refused to feel sorry for herself.
Picking up the old used but her handy camera she had paid for with her own money, she decided to go out and survey the landscape outside the dark fortress. Maybe it will be worthwhile for her to click something eccentric out there.
Richard's house was in form of building from the outside but on the inside, it looked like a huge mansion. High top ceiling and chandeliers in every freaking room. Dawn mindfully stepped away from the path thinking one day that chandelier would fall on top of her head.
Her own room had a four poster bed with a red bed spread all around. The wall were light pale pink and she had her own tub and closet.
She didn't particularly liked her room. Nothing in it reflected what she truly is. She felt she borrowed clothes from someone and it's still taking time fit her. Mould into her skin.
When she dressed, she met Lorenzo up at the front door and wished him. He was radiant and bright. Hair tied into a messy bun, his skin fair and tan, he was quite intriguingly sweet. She asked if she could click his picture and he adorably nodded his head.
She smiled and clicked a bunch from whole different angles. Other than macro photography, she enjoyed clicking living beings especially humans. Every person in his or her way is so unique and empowering.
Their own traits make them shine out.
Lorenzo's honest smile gave away most. He didn't conceal or tried to pretend. Of course, people who are like that have their own kind of beauty in them as well.
When she was done showing him his portraits he asked if she needed to eat, maybe some breakfast or anything. Dawn simply shook her head and went on her way.
When she saw the barn, the welcoming sounds of horses neighing inside shook her with excitement.
She giggled and rolled her eyes. Of course, that man would keep horses. Such a rich man's fancy.
She stepped into the spacious shed. The all hardware wooden barn with low slung rooftop meeting veterinary high at the middle. The wooden oak exterior painted dirty red with sliding aisle doors at both ends.
As she walked in there were four stalls with a solid steel grill partitions and windows with power coated steel bars. Inside each of the stall was a different breed, no doubt expensive horses.
Their names were imprinted on their stall door in cobalt black. The first one was called Bronze.
The Haflinger breed with chestnut brown fur and lush smooth white mane. It was well muscled yet elegant. In the second stall, the name imprinted was Silver. It was those feral horses, dark woody brown fur with black stark mane coating his neck and head. It neighed at her roughly.
The third stall had Gold, written on it. This Dawn recognized easily. It was an Andalusian horse. It's mixture of black, grey and white making the horse look powerful and vividly idiosyncratic.
The last stall was equipped with one the most beautiful horse in the world.
This breed was also obvious to Dawn as she looked at the calm Friesian horse. Stark shiny black coat of fur covered it from head to its hooves.
When she looked down at the name-late, she smiled thinking it was the apt name for such an exquisite horse. Diamond.
She was starting to see a pattern here. There has to be a symbolic gesture to the names though.
