Dawn groaned low as she sat in her small cramped office. Technically, it was more of tiny little cubicle. A cubicle she should have moved from and gotten herself a regular sized one.

She had been called to work thankfully today. She didn't think she could stay at the house any longer.

After last night, her defenses were raised and she made a point to not see Richard's cruel smirk or face his presence.

How could she have done that? It was her literarily pleasuring herself in front of that gorgeous man!

The battle of right and wrong swiveled in her head. He was married to her mother, for God's sake! Dawn's volcanic vomit choked in her throat.

Was that considered cheating yesterday? Did he cheat on her mother? With her?

Before her thoughts could further disarm her, a harsh slam of a hand on her tiny desk made her jump. Her eyes widened up at its culprit. Giovani?

"Chop-chop, Dawn. I need those photos edited as soon as possible." His voice was deep but it didn't have the musical rhythm to it.

Giovani rarely came to her and when he did, it's always ordering her to edit photos or-no, mainly just that. He was in a manner-of-speaking her boss.

A boss who failed to notice her as a potential photographer.

Though she had that impish crush on him, his face suddenly looked normal. Not eccentricity and no electric zazzy crackled in her nerves.

Dawn realized her life was filming into a tragedy.

No! She can't remain an editor for the rest of her lives! She wanted him to notice her, she jolly well make it happen.

"Giovani? I was wondering if I could show you my photos?" Wow, way to sell it but it's a start.

He didn't even listen, simply moving past her. Undeterred, she tagged along clutching her folder of pictures. "If you could just take a look-"

"Dawn, honey. There is no passion in your work. I don't see the vigor which I want."

Those words cut deep. It was even worse coming from a man she looked up to. A boil of fury began to bubble in herZ

He wanted vigor, fine he will get vigor!

She shuffled the new prints of her photos that she got fresh out of the printer and taking out the latest  picture, she flashed it in front of his face.

Giovani stopped short. "What is this?"

The picture she pulled out was of Richard's under jaw as he rode in the night sky. Hair brushed back and the eyes were shadowed in the dark with his white shirt proudly juxtaposing.

"It's...so asininely beautiful. Who is this man?" He whirled around to face her.

"His identity is anonymous. I'll like to keep it that way."

"Even better. Pick out a name for him stat."

Good thing she already thought of his name as she kept foolishly gazing the pictures. "I'll like to call him Rider."

Giovani looked at her, pausing.

Then, he clapped his hands delightedly. "I love it. Fabulous! I want more! And this is what I'm talking about. Passion in your craft. Beautiful. If I see more of this good work, I'll clear up a space in my team and you can even get a raise."

Dawn overflowed with joy, she went and hugged him tight. "Thank you! Thank you! So much!"

He awkwardly patted her back and pulled away.
