Small Lie

During Tae's short lived visit to the alpha's house, the omega and Jungkook were having fun eating in the kitchen and sharing each other's most shameful secrets that went along the lines of Tae once using a grapefruit to masturbate, before he discovered how much he enjoyed butt play as an omega, and the alpha confessing he once jerked off so much in a single day Namjoon had to go to his door and ask him to stop because everyone in the home was suffocating thanks to Jungkook's thick arousal scent. They were both enjoying hearty laughs, the beautiful sound echoing through a still empty house.

Their bonding time was interrupted by a call from Yoongi, who asked Tae to come home. His parents were anxiously asking the alpha where Tae was and Yoongi didn't want to be the one to break the news of their baby finding his mate, he told his parents Tae had gone out for a run.

Tae's POV

As i arrived at my doorstep, i felt unsure about informing my parents regarding my mate, i wasn't sure if it was something i wanted to do without Jungkook by my side. Then again, it might be better to get them used to the idea of my having a mate before i burst into my home with a true alpha by the hand.

Just as i opened the door i was greeted by my two concerned parents, i had never been out of the house on my own for more than 3 hours. I lost track of time at Jungkook's when i realized i had been over there almost the entire night. I walked inside and there stood my hyung crossed arms, visibly upset.

"Taehyung! Where have you been? Your father and i were were worried sick. Are you ok? Did anyone hurt you?" My mother asked as she spun me around physically examining me.

"I'm ok mom, i just fell asleep in the woods and lost track of time." I glanced at Yoongi apologetically, he only frowned at my lie. I turned to face my mother, my reply easing her, clueless as to where i really was, my scent had already gone back to it's natural lavender state so she didn't question my whereabouts any further. My eyes traveled back to my hyung, the look of disapproval on his face more prominent.

My father was watching the interaction i had with my mother and was somewhat satisfied with my answer. "Be more careful Tae, there's plenty alphas that roam those woods only searching for omegas to mate, and you've been going by yourself lately. Yoongi wasn't there to protect you if anything would've gone wrong." He warned, almost scolding my brother.

"Father i asked him to let me have some time alone, i needed it." I shrugged, my eyes still focused on Yoongi.

Father's gaze was trained on me, then moved to Yoongi who immediately shot his eyes to the floorboards. "Yoongi accompanies you to an all alpha school, as well as into the woods. Understood?" My dad's eyes didn't have a stern look, it was fear that adorned them.

Author POV

They were all so used to Tae's scent being so easily hidden, that the omega's nearing heat was straining the peaceful enviornment of their home. Mr. Kim was now second guessing allowing his proud omega son to attend an all alpha school even with suppressants. Alphas were dangerous and Tae was strong, but could never overpower an alpha. It all seemed like a foolish idea now, maybe Tae's dream was not meant to take flight.

"Hyung i'm sorry, i lost track of time. I should've come home sooner." Tae began, "I was just having such a good time with my alpha-"

"Tae i don't care about what time you got here or why, i know you were safe, but our parents don't. I don't see why you kept at the lie." Yoongi ranted, "of course they'd be upset over you mating at 17, you're an omega and you could end up pregnant. But their anger wouldn't last, as long as they knew you were safe with you mate." A new frown evident.

"I just wanted Kook to be with me when i shared that information with them, that's all." The omega sighed, "i didnt lie out of ill will, i just-"

"Come here Tae", the alpha hugged his younger brother, "you have your reasons and i'll respect them, just no more lies alright, i hate lying to mom and dad. Let Kook know he will have to meet our parents soon."

The omega nodded in his brother's arms.

The weekend was over over in the blink of an eye.

The last of their days off, Taehyung and Jungkook spoke on the phone for hours after getting much needed rest.

Kook informed Tae that he and Hoseok were grounded after their fight with eachother in school, when his parents arrived home they were scolded relentlessly. Their father was especially mad since he is Headmaster and his sons were the ones to wreak havoc on campus. They were both placed on campus cleaning duty for a week. Jungkook filled Tae in on his complete recovery from the few fleshwounds he obtained in the fight. Tae hadn't even noticed them despite being completely naked in bed with him soon after his fight. Alphas have a remarkable healing abilities, and Jungkook just had to boast about his own to his omega.

Monday morning came and Tae was excited to see his mate. Yoongi was seeing Jimin daily as both of their parents knew they were mates and he loved seeing his omega before going to a school full of thick scented alphas.

As they arrived to school Jungkook and Hoseok were already waiting for them at the front gates, Jungkook beamed as he saw his omega nearing the school but soon remembered where he was and traded in the bunny smile for a soft grin instead. Hoseok still couldn't bring himself to look Tae in the eyes, so the omega embraced him, Tae didn't want Hoseok to feel guilty anymore. Jungkook groaned when they stayed in each other's arms longer than his heart could take, and that was the end of the warm hug between Hoseok and Taehyung. Hobi laughed at his little brother's antics but felt like things with Tae were once again going back to normal, or even better than before since Tae would've never hugged him before.

The omega softly brushed his alpha's hands, alphas around them were already staring given the true alphas battling on campus just last week were now acting as if nothing had ever happened. A few students taking notice of how this had never happened between the brothers before Taehyung arrived to school.

When the bell rang Tae, Jungkook, and Yoongi walked to the same class with the omega's brother walking in between the mates. Jungkook huffed when he realized he would once again be forced to watch Tae sitting across the room surrounded by alphas. Tae patted Jungkook's back and let his hand linger a bit as they entered the room subtly reassuring his mate of their bond, hoping the touch was enough to let Jungkook know no other alpha could take his place.

Tae's POV

I walked across the room towards my seat. I sat down completely forgetting who was sitting next to me, the now strong pomegranate fragrance took me by surprise, "how are you Tae?" Bogum spoke and i could feel my insides churning. He knows i'm an omega.
