Tae's New Scent

Author's POV

Tae was awake before the sun rose, his thoughts wouldn't let him get a full night's sleep. What if Jungkook decided the omega wasn't worth the trouble? Should Tae have waited to have sex with the alpha? Would things turn out ok given how Jungkook began acting as if he were Tae's owner?

These questions were eating away at Tae's mind. He stayed in bed until his phone alarm rang, it was time to start the day. The omega went about his morning routine, he was afraid of what today would entail for him.

Yoongi was heard calling out for Tae downstairs, as the alpha waited he was thinking of ways to lighten the mood after upsetting his little brother with everything that transpired the night before. "Tae look-"

"It's ok hyung i understand why everything was said, i don't agree with you but i comprehend why you feel that way." Tae interrupted.

"I just don't like the guy brother, he's always been so egotistic and bad mouthed. I curse but that's about it, i don't talk down on others." Yoongi followed.

"I know hyung." 

Yoongi could see that the omega was having a hard time, so he took his hand and began making their way to school.

"Goodmorning alpha." Jimin bubbled, Tae hadn't even noticed when he snuck up on them. "Goodmorning little brother." Jimin directed at Tae and with that single greeting Tae could feel his mood changing.

"What brings you around here little omega?" Yoongi chuckled.

"Oh i've seen a very handsome alpha walking this way every morning, maybe you've met him?" Jimin smiled. "Perhaps you've spotted him Tae"

"Ah so a handsome alpha?" Yoongi grinned as he took Jimin by the waist and kissed his cheek.

"There he is", Jimin beamed.

"Ugh you guys make me sick", Tae agonized earning hearty laughs from the two mates.

They all shared a gleeful morning and as always Jimin only accompanied them up until his family shop, Yoongi and his omega bode their farewells. Tae and his older brother continued on their walk to school Yoongi making sure to hold Tae's hand again, this earned him a bright smile from the omega Yoongi could feel the warmth Tae had in his heart.

As they arrived to school Hoseok was near the entrance waiting for them, they exchanged their greetings and walked into campus.

"Tae!" The omega heard someone call. He turned to see Jungkook walking towards him. It was strange to see the alpha call out his name in public, and the people surrounding them seemed to think so too as most alphas near turned to look at Taehyung and the person calling out his name. The omega panicked a little inside, he was used to people staring at him when he walked by, but no one really paid more attention to him than just the passing glance. It made Tae nervous, would being around Jungkook call for unwanted attention?

"Goodmorning Jungkook", Tae politely replied.

"Goodmorning Taehyung, I want to talk to you in private, only if you want to of course." Jungkook looked at Tae, eyes wide hoping for the best.

Hobi's eyes had the same look of bewilderment as all the other alphas paying attention to the ongoing conversation between Jungkook and Tae. "Tae is everything ok? I'll talk to my little brother, he won't bother you. If he wants trouble i can speak to him and our older brother at home." Hoseok offered. Why was Jungkook trying to get Tae alone? Jungkook did warn Tae to watch himself the day they met him and Yoongi's mate outside the Park's shop. Hobi's not about to let his little brother hurt one of his friends out of pride. "Move aside Jungkook," Hoseok ordered as he stepped up to his little brother.

"I'll go with him", Tae intercepted "i'll be fine hyung." He reassured Hobi. Yoongi was only staring at Jungkook studying him carefully, very well aware of all the eyes that were on them already.

Tae began towards Jungkook ,who was glaring at his older brother. "I'll see you guys later", the omega spoke as he looked towards Hoseok and Yoongi.

Jungkook's POV

I led Tae away from all the wandering eyes and perked up ears to a secluded quad area. Tae look annoyed, like he had better places to be and i didn't blame him i was a total jerk to him last night. We mated and my alpha instincts took over me, i felt like i owned Tae for a few hours after we had sex. "Tae? Darling, can i call you that? I'm sorry, you had your own life outside of us meeting and i need to respect that, but can i be around you in school? I want my scent to be the one to permeate you, i want everyone to know that we're together." I looked to the floor ashamed of my words from yesterday but hopeful for Tae's reply today.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I heard my omega reply as he observed me.

"What? Taehyung, we're mates. Look i'm sorry about yesterday-" i gulped before Taehyung interrupted.

"No Kook, its not about that. I forgive you i might have overreacted, of course you'd be upset about me being around an alpha that tried mating me, but he's still unaware of my second gender thus having no idea of who i am, i'm sure he'd be eternally apologetic if he knew. No one knows and if we get too close from one day to another alphas are going to get curious", Tae continued while my heart skipped a beat at his new nickname for me. "I think we should take it slow in school meet up here and there and progressively hang around more until no one thinks too much about us being together all the time. You garner too much attention Kook, and the last thing i need is too much of that."

He was right, no one suspected Tae of being an omega most alphas just though of him as a sub alpha  that Yoongi was fucking. Ugh. I want those damned alphas to know i'm the one rammimg Tae. "Alright Tae i'll be the one to come to you, i don't want people thinking you're begging me for my time. I want them to know this prideful alpha is crazy for you."

Tae's POV

Is my alpha really this cheesy? If so i love it.

"Ah yes romantic Kook once again saves the day." I chuckled. I saw his eyes gleaming, this is my alpha: romantic, incredibly handsome, and sometimes a bit too possessive. "Let's head back to class together, to get these alphas used to our presence together. But first lets find Yoongi, i need to stay near him until his scent rubs off on me i smell too strongly of you now."

I could perceive Jungkook feeling a sense of superiority as Yoongi's scent was overtaken by his.

Jungkook's POV

I grinned, "I think we'll be fine if you go into class this way. You can take on Yoongi's scent after our first period, he's probably in there already." My pride as an alpha whose omega wore his scent making my senses loose control for a moment.

I grabbed ahold of Tae's waist and kissed him as deeply as i could this very instant.  He didn't push back accepting my deeds. Now he could smell stronger of me.

Author's POV

Both so lost in the moment, they were unaware of the only pair of roaming eyes witnessing their encounter.

They walked to class and just as Tae had anticipated, all eyes were on them. Alphas already taking notice of the scent Taehyung now wore.
