Brothers

Yoongi was trying to hold on to Hoseok with all his human might, but it was futile the strength a true alpha possessed was not something Yoongi could control. Jungkook was staring straight at them getting into position to attack both alphas a few feet away from him.

Namjoon was on campus bringing a coffee to his chosen mate, Jin, this was almost a daily practice for him. Any time his first class ended he took advantage of the hour and a half he had until his next class, and drove from the university he was attending to his father's campus all to bring his beloved Jin a coffee.

The large gathering of students outside of the classrom buildings seemed off, but he decided to keep walking to his mates office, that's when the strong smell of cinnamon and cigarettes hit his face like a bitter winter morning. He turned to face the rally of students and took long strides to arrive sooner.

Growling and whimpering could be heard as he came closer, Namjoon immediately assumed his brothers were fighting some alphas and he would somehow need to intervene without hurting any minors. His heart sunk as he saw his little brothers facing each other unrecognizable, jaws wide open ready to attack again, their fur covered in each other's blood.

Before he could react they were about to jump at each other when a young alpha interved, holding on to hoseok as securely as he could. Namjoom knew he wouldn't be able to hold on to Hoseok for long, regular alphas don't stand a chance against true alphas.

Namjoon hoped the aforementioned alpha's attempt to stop the fight would take his brothers out of the murderous trance they were in, but of course he was wrong. He saw Jungkook getting ready to attack and possibly kill not only his own brother, but now an innocent bystander who's only mistake was trying to intervene and stop the dangerous confrontation.

Jungkook darted towards them, a third true alpha taking him out by the side. Hoseok was surprised, Jungkook picked himself up from the ground and began growling, quickly going silent as he saw a dark grey wolf with golden eyes standing before him. The wolf didn't growl, he didn't attempt to fight either one of the brothers he glanced at both of them, disappointment and heart ache clear in his bright golden eyes. He howled saddened by what he witnessed, Jungkook and Hoseok joining him, regret almost physically visible from the two bloodied alphas.

To everyone's surprise the 3 true alphas began walking to the infirmary together, Hoseok and Jungkook's heads hung low full of shame, while they both limped behind the third true alpha.

A sudden howl was heard, not too far from where everyone was standing. A needy howl, an omega's howl one that was in heat and in search of a mate. A fresh lavender scent swirling in the air enticing any alpha who inhaled the omega's scent. A frenzy of horny alphas sniffing at the air trying to find the direction in which the lavender came from.

Yoongi panicked, he himself turning into wolf out of fear, he was the most familiar with his brother's scent, immediately trailing it hoping Tae was able to get out of school in time.

Jungkook's insides set ablaze at his omega's desire struck howl and sexually aroused scent, more so than any other alpha near by, Tae was his mate after all. He only came to his senses as he saw his brother's reacting to the lavender as well, but in a different way.

"Guk your mate, someone could be trying to mate her." Hoseok linked his younger brother, forgetting all about their fight from earlier. Hobi knew the scent, from when he met Tae in wolf form at the woods, he just didn't know it was Taehyung.

"Taehyung is your mate?" Joon questioned, assuming Hobi knew and remembering the scent from the day he saved Tae from a couple of alphas during the omega's first preheat.

"What?" Hoseok asked.

Namjoon could control himself around an omega in heat, he had already chosen his mate, and Hoseok had already found his. They both felt confident enough to help their little brother with his woes.

Jumgkook ignored the questions but acknowledged the control they had over their instincts. He saw Yoongi running away from the crowd stealthily to not alarm any alphas. Jungkook followed no one was paying attention to the true alphas anymore, all alphas were still sniffing at the air, some ashamed at their erections in public and trying to cover up, the rest not giving a fuck, Jungkook knew he needed to find Tae that instant.

Jungkook, with his brothers right behind him, caught up to Yoongi who was rightfully scared beyond belief, Jungkook glanced at him bowing his head slightly to show respect for his omega's brother. It calmed Yoongi's nerves to see 3 true alphas running behind him helping his search for his brother. Despite seeing Hoseok and Jungkook tearing at each other's fur, their bond as brothers was much stronger and Yoongi thought maybe Jungkook wasn't the worst choice of mate for his brother.

"Open the fucking door!" A raspy voice roared from the outside.

Tae and Jimin both recognized the voice, but couldn't put a face on it. Jimin started sniffing around the door, Tae still a little drowsy from his preheat slowly going away. Jimin caught a whiff of whoever was standing outside and looked at Tae confusion clear in his face.

"Bogumie?"

Tae's eyes widened. "Jimin don't let him in please."

"He's my cousin Tae he might be wounded or in need of help, he wouldn't hurt you i know him." Jimin assured, still not unlocking the door.

"Is Tae ok? Please tell me he got here safe, no one touched him did they?" Bogum pleaded.

"He's fine alpha." Jimin answered holding on to the door.

"Thank Goodness, i was so worried for him, can he hear me?"

"Loud and clear Bogum." Tae replied still unsure about the whole situation.

"Taehyung, your secret is safe with me. I won't let anyone hurt you. Like i said before i can help you with anything you might need, i'll be here if you need a friend to talk to." Bogum softly spoke. "I'll see you in school whenever you're ok to comeback Tae, you can trust me. I'll get going for now, im sorry if i scared you two, i was only worried."

The tenderness with which the alpha spoke restored some of Tae's faith in alphas.

About 10 minutes had passed since Bogum's departure from outside, when a loud banging on the door and windows was heard. Jimin and Tae frightened at the sudden noise.

"Jimin open up! Is my brother in there? I can smell him." Yoongi yelled.

Jimin immediately unlocked the door letting Yoongi inside, amused when he saw Jungkook trailing behind, and Hoseok along with another true alpha standing outside.

"Tae? Are you ok? Are you hurt? Did anyone come near y-" Yoongi began interrogating.

"I'm fine hyung. No one came near me, Jimin let me in here and boarded up the windows when he saw me, he let me stay here until my preheat subsided." Tae informed blushing as he left a vital piece of information out of his confession. "I'm sorry hyung it all happened so fast i couldn't come find you."

"Don't apologize Tae, i'm at fault i left you all alone. I shouldn't have" Yoongi mumbled. 

"Why's he here?" Jimin pointed at Jungkook looking him up and down in disapproval. The last time Jimin saw Jungkook he threatened Tae.

"I-i i just-" The mighty true alpha stutterted.

"He's my mate", Tae announced as he walked into his alpha's arms.

Jimin and the two alphas outside were left stupefied.
