Lydia was shockingly okay with my secret, and even seemed willing to help.  I felt bad lying to her about what happened with Norman, but I think the pain already caused was far more than enough.  As we arrived back at her apartment, via 'Air Spidey Expressway' I couldn't help but notice how much lighter everything had become.  I didn't feel like I was living a lie, and Lydia was finally seeing who I actually was.  I told her that whenever I was with her, that was the real me, it wasn't a lie... not completely anyway.  Spider-Man is a lie I'll have to live with for the rest of my life, and as long as she didn't know about it, I would never be complete.

Heading inside, Lydia pulled my suit out of the book bag, (we were in her room with the door shut, thankfully because Natalie came in a few minutes later) and examined it.  She asked me if I was gonna make any changes to the suit, because the dark look, it didn't really fit me... I told her the main idea was to have the suit keep a red to it, but otherwise I was at a loss for where to go from there.

Being the genius she was, that or I was just so absent-minded currently to even consider the idea, but anyway, Lydia said why not use the color scheme I had on during the bank robbery.  The red, blue, and white look.

"Red, white, and blue?  I'm not trying to rip off Captain America," Stiles laughed, gaining a stern look from Lydia as response.

"The white isn't necessary.  Honestly, the red and blue was what I was talking about.  Here," she laid the suit out in front of him on the bed and took a white marker and marked off the sections of the suit.

"H-hey, I gotta fight people in this, Lyd..."

"Oh shush, you probably already have a back-up knowing how much trouble you get into."

"Yeah, but that's beside the point!" Stiles whined, laying his head back, the long locks of hair bothering him as Lydia took sticky notes and began writing on certain ones, R, B...

Sticking them into the different sections of the suit, Stiles started to see the suit come together in his head.  It was beautiful, but by the time Lydia finished, he felt like the suit was missing something.  A symbol.

"That I can work with," Stiles smiled as his phone buzzed, gaining his attention and saw it was a message from Norman Osborn.  His stomach dropped at the sight of it, but the message didn't contain that same sense of deception it normally would.

Stiles, I need you to come to the Tower.  It's about Derek.

"Who's that?" Lydia asked as Stiles responded with 'on my way' and put his phone away in his pocket.

"Norman Osborn.  Apparently he needs to talk to me about Derek."

"Derek?"

"Yeah, I don't know.  I'll be back later, okay?" he answered, getting to his feet and moved over to Lydia, kissing her on the cheek.  "Don't do anything drastic with the suit, okay?"

"Of course," she smiled sweetly as he climbed out onto the windowsil and launched off into the city.  Lydia sat there, and felt where he had just kissed her on the cheek.  "You didn't even realize you did that, did you?"

Arriving at the tower, Stiles walked into Norman's office and was shocked to see Norman in such a lively state.  His skin was full of color and he looked so much younger.  What happened there?

"You said you needed me?" Stiles greeted, gaining a weak smile from Norman.

"Stiles, I'm glad you're here.  Yes, we need to talk.  Before I get into things, I... I want to apologize to you.  For a lot of things.  I lied to you, that day that I, I nearly killed you."
