Stiles practically dove through the window to Lydia's room, scaring the teen as she fell back against the wall.  "Jesus, a little warning next time?!" she asked, as Stiles hopped to his feet, helping her up.

"Sorry, but this is important.  Where's the tracer now?"

"Financial district, heading towards City Hall, it looks like, but he's heading northeast now.  That's odd." she answered him as the image of the Manhattan map was turned towards him, while he grabbed his suit out of his bag.

As she looked up, she saw he had taken his shirt off and had just started unbuttoning his pants.  He looked up suddenly, and just like that they were in awkward eye contact again, just like the first time she'd seen his post spider bite physique.  "Oh... my bad."

Her cheeks reddened, and looked away.  "No, it's not your fault."

He quickly got changed, but couldn't help but notice her eyes dart up every few seconds, making a sly smile appear over his face.  Once he was suited up, he grabbed his mask off of the bed and smiled towards her.

"There's a button to link your phone to my suit's comms." Stiles said as he got to the window, and Lydia linked her phone to his suit.  "Alright, keep me posted!"

He dove out the window once more, and Lydia kept her eyes peeled to the computer screen, although the cherry red shade never left her cheeks.

So he just started undressing in my room like it was nothing, in front of me?  Wow... she shook her head, taking in a deep breath.

The swing through the city was frantic, his heart was beating with the rhythm of his frantic swings, the teen bouncing off walls and leaping through the maze of buildings.

"Lyd, where's he at?"

"I'm not too sure, actually.  It says he's by City Hall, but his elevation... that can't be right."

"What do you mean, what's his elevation?" Stiles asked, raising an eyebrow as he remembered the men on the hovercrafts.  "If it's above the buildings I have an explanation for that.  Derek's being moved by some guys on hoverboards, or gliders, whatever you wanna call them.  It's cool and all, but I can't fly!"

"Really, gliders?  I thought Oscorp was the only one that had been working on that kind of project.  At least, they were the only ones making headway with it.  I know that you said Derek had taken the Lycan Serum for this Mesmero character, but was there a chance anything else might have been taken, maybe before Derek got mesmerized?"

"I don't know, it's possible.  Listen, I get to Derek, and if I manage to get him back, I may not be able to come back to the apartment for a bit.  Derek was mesmerized, and I don't know if knocking him out is gonna do the trick to break that hold Mesmero has on him."

"So, if he is still mesmerized, then what exactly is your plan?  You'd need someone like a telepath to get into his head to break that hold, right?" Lydia asked.

"Actually, I got an idea.  See, werewolves have a neat little trick, they can use their claws and stick it into the back of a person's neck, connect to the brain stem and enter their mind, kind of like the Matrix.  Instead of the Matrix, though, it's that person's mindscape.  They can do crazy things with it, steal memories, see them, or implant ideas depending on the intent.  Maybe if I can get Derek's sisters to help, we can break the hold that way," Stiles explained, as he heard a confused laugh come from the strawberry blonde.

"That's kind of terrifying.  Just be careful."
