The voice of a young girl with a brave heart called onto me and made me write. This was just supposed to be a project wherein we were tasked to create our own fictional country and present it as if we came from it. We made maps and brochures. Dressed and talked like the common people in La Belleza El Tierra . And when it was done, it was quickly disregarded. But somehow, deep inside me I couldn't let go of what we have made. The voices of the people reached onto my heart. I just couldn't let go of the place. So I wrote. I poured it all in. The words turning into a story I've always imagined as I stare upon the map. And as you read this, I hope it would bring you joy and courage as it have given me while writing.
