I couldn't hear anything. There's a loud ringing on my ears, making me feel numb all throughout my body. Everyone started crowding around my sister. I couldn't see Kuya anywhere. Sudie fainted when she saw my sister bathed with her own blood. Rav walked towards me and said something, but I couldn't quite hear him well because of the loud ringing.

A strong feeling of anger came surging inside me as they crowded around her even more. They're not doing anything but to panic and argue. I felt a hot searing feeling on my palms as I hit it on the floor, throwing everyone out. My sister laid on the cold wooden floor, her breathing uneven and an arrow pierced right through her breastplate. I heard everyone gasped when they got thrown away from her.

With shaking hands, I got up to my feet and slowly walked towards her. I heard Sudie calling my name but I didn't pay her any attention as I kneeled beside Ate Emm. Her face and entire body bloody. I noticed a lot of wounds covering her arms and legs. How did this happen? And then I remembered what Delvin said the last time we saw each other.

"It's for defending our own Kingdom. Adkins is just waiting for your sister to start the attack. We won't even fight back—"

They won't even fight back? This is what not fighting back means to him? Damn I cannot believe that I almost fell for his lies again! I tried to calm myself down by breathing deep heavy breaths. I need to focus. I need to save my sister.

Feeling the same searing pain on my palms, I raised it just inches away from where the arrow is. Its tail is with the colour red. Indicating that it's the arrow of a King. Fuck I can't believe he did this to her. Damn Adkins. I'm going to kill you. 

Still muttering curses to the King of El Suelo, I slowly moved my fingers in an upward motion making the arrow move on its own. I was already sweating when I got it out. But something wrong happened.

Ate Emm started gasping for air. No one dared to came near us, probably afraid that I might throw them against the wall again. I started sobbing when my mind suddenly became blank. My hands shaking as I tried to stop the blood from flowing. She's loosing too much blood. When someone kneeled beside me, I immediately faced him or her ready to beg for help and I saw Rav's face looking at me with his eyes filled with concern and worry. He held my shaking hands and started putting pressure on Ate Emm's wound.

Then he stopped. I shook my head repeatedly when I couldn't feel a pulse on her wrist. No. No. This is not happening. I can't lose her. I don't want to lose her. I started crying again when I realised that she's gone. Rav held me by the shoulders and looked at me directly in the eyes. He's saying something but I couldn't hear him over the loud ringing on my ears. I shook my head and looked down, still crying helplessly. He held my head with both hands and forced me to look at him.

"No. You can bring her back Blaine. Concentrate. You need to bring her back." The ringing on my ears decreased and I finally heard what he's been saying. He wiped my tears dry and held my shaking hands as I tried to gain my composure. He's right. 

I can bring her back. 

I've done this once and I need to do it again.

I held on Ate Emm's hand and closed my eyes. Intense surging emotions taking over my system. The feeling of longing, grief, and fear consume me like a tidal wave. I breathed out heavily as I opened my eyes and saw the familiar golden light shimmering towards her body. I immediately felt relieved as I watch it sink on her chest. I waited for her to gasp for air and open her eyes, but she didn't. She remained lifeless on the cold hot floor. I started crying when I couldn't understand what's happening anymore. Rav hugged me as I started throwing punches at his chest. Begging him to bring my sister back.
