After Princess Herm found the kid and received the threat.

In the unlit dark bedchamber of the third Prince of El Suelo, the air hung cold and damp. He was given the privilege to sleep in a room far from the others. Outside, the lights of El He Chizo burned with likeliness and grace. Prince Aiken sat on his bed, tending his wounds with white bandages and a healing oil extracted from pine trees. A sheen shimmered, white and pure. A maiden stood right in front of him and a sad smile formed her lips.

"Someone got beaten up." Prince Aiken remained silent, like how he have always been for the past few weeks. The maiden wore a white silky gown with maple leaves embroidered on its hem, lined with a gold and silver thread. Her eyes apologetic and her pointy ears filled with fine metals that shimmered against the darkness of the room.

"Those things cannot fully heal your wounds. But I presume you already know that. A simple healing spell would stop the pain. And I suppose you care nonetheless of those wounds anyway." The maiden said as she took a seat beside him. Prince Aiken glanced at her. His eyes empty and sullen.

"Why are you here Ad?" The maiden only laughed softly. A tune that would've lit up the entire chamber.

"I heard that you're going with them in the Philippines." Prince Aiken scoffed at her words.

"If you're here to stop me—"

"I'm not. In fact I came here to wish you luck and a safe voyage. But what for? It's an enormous world out there. You cannot possibly hope to see her again." Both fell silent. The maiden lifted her hands, whispered with the ancient words as it glowed with a soft sheen of light. The Prince's wounds started glowing, strokes of light seeped right through his flesh, burning and searing as it healed.

"You stopped using magic. But I didn't. Those bandages and oils cannot heal you." The Prince was about to say something when the door opened and a child came in with a smirk on his small face. Prince Aiken scoffed and didn't pay the child any attention. Its clothes were torn and soiled. His dark gray eyes wild and hair disheveled.

"Kai" The maiden whispered and averted her gaze when their eyes met.

"You've grown weak brother." The child said, pretending that they're alone in the room. He extended his arms and his body started to glow with a soft green light. It grew brighter and brighter. As it died down, Prince Kai Ekkier Bonavich of El Malefico stood right in front of them.

"You did this to him?" The maiden asked, fury reflecting on her doe like eyes. Prince Kai only gave her a glance and didn't say anything, pretending to not have heard of her voice.

"What are you doing here? Are you so bold now that you're using magic in this very Kingdom?" Prince Aiken said, his voice firm and stoic towards his brother.

"Now that Hermanie is here, the people have started using magic again. They need not know that it was me."

"She doesn't have to be the Queen. Pwede pa natin siyang ilayo dito" Prince Aiken whispered. The maiden shifted on her seat uncomfortably, conscious of the subtle look that the Prince Kai was giving her.

"Kaya nga kasama tayong aalis. To make sure that she's safe. She doesn't need to know about all of this. About you, me, and father. About our family. She has her own now, and soon she will build a family with Delvin. Hindi na niya kailangang malaman ang totoo." Prince Aiken nodded, for once agreeing with his older brother.

"But let me tell you this," Aiken said and looked at him, serious and calm. "Hindi na ako babalik doon. Let it be damned but I will never set foot in that Kingdom ever again" Prince Kai only smiled, and then a laughter escaped from his lips.

"You'll never know, my dear brother. Home is something we couldn't just abandon so easily"

All of them fell silent. Weighting the words of each other. The maiden whispered a farewell to the Prince Aiken and disappeared with a soft white light. Prince Kai stared at where she sat, his eyes grim and serious. Prince Aiken noticed it and shook his head at his brother. Hindi pinansin kanina kahit miss naman talaga.

"You're messed up." His brother only chuckled and said,

"So are you, little brother"
