"Where did you find that message?"

My eyes remained on the scenery right in front of us. It's nighttime and the tension seemed more evident than usual. Down below, thousands of soldiers lined the castle walls. Soldiers from our Kingdom wore their iron armours with boiled leather straps, the moonflower symbol engraved at the back, glistening against the torch lit grounds. While the soldiers from El Suelo wore their leather bounded armours, pale red and lined with black fur. Everyone stood in attention, eyes and entire body on alert at whatever threat may come. I rode the carriage with the second Prince earlier, both of us quiet and our hands intertwined, the only thing that made me feel like we're together inside that carriage since our mind flew else where.

"Ekkier gave it to me. What were you doing in the town Blaine? I couldn't find you anywhere. You didn't even inform the twins about it" I sat next to him, his eyes finally fixed with mine. We are now in the balcony of my room. Kuya Traq forbade me from leaving the castle grounds. He said that it wasn't safe.

"Ekkier knew where I was going. I needed to find the kid that I first brought back to life. The first that I used my abilities on." I explained as I clasped both of my hands together, taking a grasp at my thoughts. The conversation I had with the kid made my skin crawl, an icy feeling seeped right into me, never leaving my body up until now. The second Prince gazed at me worriedly. His emerald orbs showing genuine concern. Somehow, just by knowing that he's here makes me feel safe.

"Why?"

"Because...because I—"

" you're afraid" I looked at him, surprised at what he just said. He looked down and placed his hand right above mine. Letting me feel his warmth. "It's okay to be afraid. You want to know the reason why you're the only one in this country that has that kind of ability. And that's okay."

I couldn't say anything. I just stared at him, utterly speechless. Prince Delvin ruffled my hair and made me lean on his shoulder, pulling me close by wrapping his arm around my waist. Exhaling a deep breath, I closed my eyes, letting the comfort that he brings take over me.

"Next time, I want you to tell me whenever you had to go, okay? I want to be with you every step of the way. I'm always here for you Blaine. Never hesitate to ask" I nodded, smiling now. I couldn't help but feel thankful that he's here.

"Do you have any plans when we arrive in Manila?" He asked after a long time of silence.

I opened my eyes, and looked up to meet his gaze. He's staring at me intently, making me feel like my feet just lifted above the ground, and I'm just floating aimlessly in the air. Even the way he stare takes my breath away. Sheesh.

"I don't know. Ikaw? Where do you wanna go? Will it be okay though?" The whole royal family of El Suelo will be going with us. It's not a surprise though, Adkins do not want to be away from my sister. If there's a threat, then I absolutely cannot afford to put him in danger. I don't know how my abilities would react on the outside world but I'm hoping that there wouldn't be a need to use it. As much as possible, I want to forget that I have these abilities. I want to conceal it from the world to see.

"Of course it will be okay. Adkins and Lennox already prepared everything. Walang makakalapit sa'yo maliban sa mga kasama natin. They'll have to go through us before they reach you. And I promise you that they can't" So they really want to push this through. I don't want to run away. But if running away would give them a peace of mind, then I'll just have to go along with their plans.

"Then let's do ordinary things together." Thinking about doing something absolutely normal with him makes me feel giddy. Strolling through the malls, shopping for groceries and clothes, and even watching the cinema! Thinking about the bright side of this situation can definitely light up the mood.
