"I'm not a morning person?" The words came out as a question rather than a bemused statement. This Prince, really. He does have a knack on waking me up whenever I'm deprived of sleep! And it's not cute anymore.

Today is our fifth day here in the Philippines and for the past few days, the De Loughrey family have done nothing but to explore its wonders. All of us are staying in their newly bought place. It's an extravagant mansion near the sea, painted in sienna and cream. They've been learning some of the basic stuff in the outside world. Reading clocks, traffic lights, phones, and even how a gas range works!

The only royalty that seemed to be unbothered by the sudden changes is Prince Aiken since he was said to travel around the world from time to time. As for the three other royalties, sheesh I don't even know what to say about them. One time, the Princess Ives was so pissed because she couldn't open a canned beverage. Then the second Prince tried FaceTime but he had the phone positioned near his ear. It was so funny to see him flustered and shy.

"But we missed the whole day because you didn't wake up" A shiver ran down my spine when I heard the coldness of his voice. My eyes flew open and I saw his menacing glare. Uh oh.

"Delvs, we slept at 6AM. I'm tired" I complained with a pout, hoping that my over flowing cuteness would wash over him just like how his laid-back-yet-still-hot look stuns my system, making me feel wide awake. We spent the  night by the sea to wait for the sunrise. Talking and sometimes...kissing. Kuya Traq have been so tight on him that he couldn't even talk to me properly! So, we decided to sneak out last night.

"But we were supposed to go to the amusement park." I laughed when I saw a frown forming on his face. He's wearing a black knitted sweater that fitted his body perfectly—showing the impressive curves of his biceps and his body structure that is totally making my mind swerve onto the wrong thoughts—, white board shorts, and a pair of black slippers. A Prince in flip flops, how awesome.

"What time is it anyway? I'll just take a quick shower and then we'll go" I tried to lift up his spirits but instead, he rolled his eyes and ruffled my hair, slowly showing me his boyish grin.

"It's 8 in the evening Blaine. Quallie said that it wouldn't be safe to roam around the city at night. We don't know who are enemies are but they're probably aware that we are now in this country."

"Then why did you wake me up? I'm still sleepy" A yawn escaped my throat earning a load laughter from him. He's shaking his head at me slowly and said,

"You haven't been eating and they are setting up a barbecue picnic by the shore. Now, I better go before Lennox comes marching towards us with his sword. That guy is a maniac when he's suspicious." He leaned in and I immediately covered my mouth with my hand, causing his lips to land on my palm. I haven't brushed my teeth damn it! His eyes glimmered with outmost interest and joy, his lips slowly curving into a sexy smile. Sheesh.

"Wear something warm, it's cold outside." He whispered and kissed the top of my nose before turning to walk away. I let out a deep sigh of relief and held my chest with my hand, feeling the fast beating of my heart. I really have it in him huh.

After taking a quick shower, I stepped out of the room wearing a pair of long sleeved velvet pjs with my hair in a half ponytail. I was surprised to see that the moon have already risen the moment I stepped out of the mansion. I really slept too long. The sea breeze felt warm as it swiftly touched my skin. I closed my eyes, feeling a deep sense of peace after a long time. These past few days, everyone seems fidgety and never at ease. But right now, I feel calm. And somehow, it scares me.
