18: It's Okay

Ricky POV

Right now I'm sitting in Coach Roberts office. He came in during lunch asking to see me. I'm pretty sure I know what this is about.

"Why did you want to see me sir?"

"You're off the basketball team."

"What? Why?"

"Because you are with my daughter when I told you not to."

"You told her if she was living under your roof you would do that."

"Yeah but I'm the coach, so I can do what I want. Now get out."

"But-"

"My decision is final. Now OUT!" I left before he got even more mad. I went to find Nini. I finally found her with our friends. 

"Hey Nini, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah sure." She got up and grabbed my hand. She pulled me to the music room. "What did you wa-"

"I got kicked off the basketball team."

"What? But he said-"

"He didn't care you aren't living with him. He said since he's the coach he can do whatever he wants. But I have good news."

"What's that?"

"I may or may not have recorded him. I'm gonna show the principal. You're dad is gonna get fired. Are you okay with that?"

"Of course I'm okay with that. I get to be with you, you get to stay on the team. It's a win win. I hate him for what he's doing to us. He doesn't deserve his job." She leaned up to kiss me. I obviously kissed her back.

After we had a little make-out session we went to the principal. We told him what her dad did and showed him the video.

"I'm so sorry you guys went through this. Why didn't you tell me before?"

"We didn't think you would believe us, I wanted to get proof."

"Well thank you guys for telling me. Mr. Roberts will be fired for what he did to you guys. And Nini, don't listen to what he said about you, you are an amazing person and student. You treat everyone in the best way."

"Thank you sir."

"Well you guys go finish lunch. Have a good rest of your day." We left his office and went to the cafeteria. We sat with our friends and even invited Ben, Serenity, and Carlos to sit with us. We all became a really big group.

Nini POV

I was sitting in the cafeteria with Ricky when someone, more like a few people, hugged me.

"Surprise!" I turned around and saw my three best friends from Minneapolis.

"Wha...What are you guys doing here?" I hugged all of them.

"We came to see you silly!" Kourtney hugged me again.

"How long are you staying?"

"Till we graduate."

"Wait, what?"

"We were told what you had gone through and our parents let us come down here and go to school here till we graduate."

"That's awesome. Come meet my friends." I pointed to everyone. "This is Serenity, Ben, Carlos, Gina, EJ, and Ricky."

"Oh so I'm only a friend now?"

"Okay fine. He's my boyfriend." I went up and grabbed his hand. "Everyone this is Ashlyn, Kourtney, and Seb." I pointed to each of them.

"Nice to meet you!" Everyone spoke at the same time.

"Come join us!" Me and Ricky scooted over so they could sit down.

"Hey guys. I'm new can I sit with you?" This random guy cam up to us.

"Yeah sure, what's your name?"

"Big Red. I know it's a weird name but please don't."

"None of us were gonna make fun of it. We don't do that in this group. I have a feeling we are gonna be best friends." Ricky spoke for all of us. Gina scooted over to make room for him.

"Sorry I just walked right up to you, I hate being the new kid."

"Don't worry, we get it." Me, Kourtney, Seb, and Ashlyn all said. We all burst out laughing thinking about it.

"We are...all...gonna be...great...friends." Ej said in between laughs.

"Yeah, I think we are." I agreed with him.

We went through graduation thinking nothing bad was ever gonna happen again.

Boy were we wrong.

Sorry guys, I ended this a little longer than I planned. I know I forgot to include some things like her mom, Big Red came later than planned but I sort of forgot, and it was a very abrupt ending. I'm thinking about making a sequel. I mean I should considering the big cliffhanger.
